“Our kids are doomed. Kids can't go grow correctly without being face to face with other kids their age. Find it funny this kid wanted on Facebook so badly. Really trying to wonder why, much better things to do at that age than surf Facebook.”
“This really needs to stop read way too many stories like this. Kids 16 and younger shouldn't be aloud on the internet. Yes how you're raised playa apart for bullies but the true culprit is technology. Technology is destroying young kids and teenagers because they don't learn how to deal with things because their always on fb and twitter. Can't learn to deal with others through the internet you must learn in person/life. Of course nobody will do anything which is sad.”

“I agree, but I was bullied before computers and it was still insidious. I think tech has actually raised awareness because now every time something horrible happens we all read it
the same day, so laws are now protecting children in a way that they weren't 20 years ago. There were bad consequences then too, we just didn't have access to that information like we do now.”

“"Kids 16 and younger shouldn't be aloud[allowed] on the internet"
Completely disagree. That's not even *a* solution, let alone a good solution.”

“The true culprit here is people that aren't being held to task for being misanthropes. Technology for communication has always existed, it's just faster now. Should we stop postal service because people send nastygrams and stalkers can send photos too?
The responsibility to prevent this from happening again is to teach people to be more compassionate of one another, and take bullying / stalking more seriously.”
“Perhaps you should read up on socialism and communism. Our country isn't becoming either. What is this crap about him destroying our county, it's all politicians not just democrats. The problem comes from nobody on either side getting bills passed to help our country. All they do is fight and whine about each other. I have read up on Obama and he isn't what people like you think he his. You have probably been brainwashed by Fox News and their "fair and balance" news reports. Think next time before typing such nonsense.”
“Perhaps she was off the wagon and used that excuse. We will never truly know the reason. Mixing alcohol with emotions is a bad idea, you'd assume she was taught that in rehab. Oh well liked Jack most on their reality show anyway, lol.”
“I don't believe she should have gotten drunk because of her brother diagnosis. It's sad she uses alcohol as a vice, but at the same she isn't in the news often anymore about her addictions. When she use her brother as why she drunk again then you can complain. For now just have some compassion for her brother. I understand this more than most for I have MD and I have seen how my family has reacted to my health scares. Emotions can make you do stupid things. It's part of the human condition.”

“I have the utmost compassion for her younger brother. It is an unquestionable sad thing for a young person (or old for that matter) to be struck down with that disease as well as for you and MD. However, the connection between her dysfunctional behavior and that previous diagnosis? Nah”
“Her brother was diagnosed with MS. Yet some of you are showing how heartless you are. Wouldn't you be upset if someone you loved was diagnosed with MS. You would be upset and cope with it in your own way.”

“I'd do exactly exactly the same thing - get on an airplane and get completely drunk. And then every time thereafter I did something stupid and dysfunctional I'd fall back on that excuse”
Str8shooter on Jun 29, 2012 at 14:16:00
“you know, a lot of us cope with a lot of things without having to be carried drunk on our butts from an airplane. Please. That is simply self-indulgence ..”
“I respect everyone, don't have anything against anybody's religion or view of the world. When I was younger I was a Catholic, I just can't believe believe in religion anymore, way to much suffering exists in my opinion. I believe if god did exist the world be peaceful. I thank for your prayers though, my mom always tells how many people are praying for me. This guy needs the surgery no matter what. I believe nobody should want to be on disability no matter what the circumstances are. I am thankful for the help the government does give me. Again thanks for the prayers!”
ktoo on Jun 21, 2012 at 00:17:29
“Hang in there! Your mom sound a lot like mine...good women.”
“That really must be awful. But everyone saying let God fix it are clearly blind. Saying god will give him a miracle and he'll wake up with a normal sized man sack is clearly impossible(that's what god fixing it means to me).
Dr. Oz will fix it for free, scared or not get the surgery. Every surgery has risks that is fact.
If the reason really is he doesn't want lose his disability check he's an idiot. I am on disability because I'm stuck in a wheelchair but I am going to hopefully not need it soon. I want to work very badly so I'm studying to make that happen.”

“Fanned. You sound like a sensible person who is working hard to get well. I wish you the very best.”

“How about live and let live, though. If people want to express their concern for the man and they think God can help, what's the harm? Hey, I hope you lose the chair soon, and I respect you for wanting to earn your own way. I hope if I say I'll keep you in my prayers you'd take it as it's meant...as a sincere sign of good will.
You don't have to believe the message, but I'd encourage you not to reject the messenger. Just sayin'. Anyway...good luck.
Out of respect, I'll keep the rest to myself, but you can't stop me! ;-)”
“Ultra religious people or religious extremists are stunning example of how people make me despise religion. Nothing against anybody who follows a religion, but don't put your ridiculous views out there because it makes you look even more ridiculous. Religion should be about peace, helping your fellow man and love for those all around you even if they don't follow your views. Religion is meant to be something good, but reading stories like these all the time sickens me. Technology isn't going anywhere, so if you don't want your kids on the Internet don't have the Internet available to them. Very simple concept!”
TinyDancer1 on Apr 26, 2012 at 23:04:06
“I don't necessarily despise religion - I have major issues with ORGANIZED religion. I think THAT'S where the problem is. (I wish I could underline or put certain words in italics rather than make them all caps.)”

“That's the problem....TOO SIMPLE and NO DRAMA. Does shusch me further and further away from religion at least their brand of it!!”
“Fake or not doesn't matter it's about two teens who ended their lives. Propaganda or not it's still completely messed up to even joke about it. It's really sad that most people don't care about others. I also take offense in you saying I didn't use some of my critical thinking skills.”
“I am appalled by most of your comments two girls killed themselves. It's not funny in anyway whatsoever. Yes what they did was stupid but kids these days think suicide is the easy way out. They never realize ending your life brings great sadness to those who cared for you. I also think there was more going on in their lives that made them want to end it all.”
Bluesky555 on Mar 11, 2012 at 10:33:59
“Please assume that jokes are being made because they don't believe the story from the get-go. Fake names? Why? A tragedy of two young girls killing themselves and they don't want to release the names? The whole story is probably bologna --- just a little government propaganda to get certain TV shows out of favor. Come on, use some critical thinking skills.”
Jennifer Zirn on Mar 10, 2012 at 17:34:28
“I agree. No death should be made into a punchline, especially those of a young age. They are our future, and need to know the suicide is not the answer.”
“This actually isn't really weird if you gave vocaloid music a chance. I originally thought it was odd, but then I listened to it was actually very good especially if you like dance music. I am glad she makes people happy because to be happy is a great feeling.”
