“I had my vitamin D scare about a year ago. Results of my bone scan showed the early stages of osteoporosis (senior citizen here). Although I was taking a calcium supplement, my lack of vitiamin D interrupted my body's absorption of calcium. I now take 1000 IU's of vitamin D3 every day. I have told others about my experience. Some have listened and done nothing; others have taken the advice I passed on from my doctor.”
