Paying Peter to Kill Paul

“It would be cheaper if we ended this "war on drugs' that is really a war on people, all drugs should be legal, even scheduled drugs for pain or sleep, there should not be perscriptions, for pain killers or other medicimal drugs. We are fighting and funding the largest distributor of coacine/poppys. Let manufators package and sell the drugs tghat people want and set aside funds for trfeatment. If we can sell alcohol and tobacco we can sell other drugs.”
Ramus replied on Nov 12, 2009 at 13:33:56
“This is true but the pretense for this money making by the war profiteers is to keep Osama and his merry band from taking up residence again in Afghanistan. The Taliban distributes poppies not cocaine. These poppies should be bought by US, thus depriving the Taliban of money, and we should used these poppies for medical uses. And we should leave Afghanistan and see what can be done, without our soldiers, in Pakistan.”

Remember Privacy?

“Yes I remember privacy, if I was Chris Rock I would say the lack of it today, falls heavily in the laps of white folks, you guys are so ok, with incremntalism. It starts with when like you I was in the 60's and white folks were allowing there kids to drive at younger and younger ages, white children drive the incrementalism and then 30-40 years later or sooner the white boomer parents realize that they went to far and allowed too much to their kids, then they need to raise the driving age etc etc yadda yadda yadda, it happens with ATM machines and fee's, white folks are, oh how great and neat and then bam!! the banks eat us up with ever increasing and changing fee's. White skin privelage and prerogatives equals lack of privacy, becuse in the Chris rock white folks voice" we don't have anything to hide"...you allow stuff when you know historically that people with white skin are notoriously unscrupulous. They have been since the Spanish inqusition. Your kids get slapped on the wrist when they hack and send virus' out that corrupt and invade business and individual personal information on computer hard drives. And we can put the Gennie/ white skin privelageback int he bottle, or can we, maybe after the next big astoroid, the slat will be wiped clean again.”

“I can't believe a man that seemed to be so smart could not realized that he needed heavy lifting around jobs, getting stimulus money out of the door quickly and creating goverenment jobs programs. Obam has people giving him information from all perspectives and he consistenly goes off in the wrong direct. Hillery was right about this guy, all suit and no cattle, everyone gets that he had a lot to deal with, but he is mucking it up in a grand style. If Jackie Robinson had been as bad in baseball as Obam is as president, it would have taken years longer, if at all when baseball opened up to black players. He claimed that he could bring people together and the opposite is happening, he can't even energize his base.”

“He is indeed in a guilded cage, and he has promised a lot, and comes forth witout any plans in do what he promises, he wants to be liked. He wants to survive and I don't fault him for that. He said that if he failed, he will be a one term Predent, he will be a one term President and it will be harder for a person of color to get therre again. He had to be a Jackie Robinson or a Michael Jackson/ Jordon. I believe like Hillery said, the phone is ringing at 3am and he fails to answer I think he would be happy to do four years, write more books and do speeches. Bush did not put enough boots on the ground when is General asked for more going into Iraq, they sent troops in with no body armour and no vehicle uparmour. rumsfield fought the war we had. They protected the oil ministry but tnot the museums. The "surge" would not have been needed if he went in with enough troops at the beginnning. Obama will not come close to being as bad as Bush was, the question is will he make much of a difference or be that much better.”

“Please do not consider this as racism, but I have to say it. The definition of a loop hole should be something that's created so white folks can get around an issue or law, the reason we don't have stronger sex abuse and pediphile laws is that grandpa or uncle Jim, the white versions will abuse so they need a way out, they get a loop hole. Very rarely the system will let a non-white take advantage of a loop hole or technicality, a black cop told me in NY that if a traffic ticket has the slightest mistake you can get off on the ticket, look at your ticket closely, its a legal document, if all the I's and t's are not dotted and crossed you home free, a white judge in Sc told me, "i am not going to let you off on a technicality", if a police officer does not show up for traffic court in SC, the judge will still move forward with the case against you, when it should be thrown out, good old boys from top to bottom are destroying America.”

“In fact, if you ask me, we should have spent more of that stimulus money directly on the working people and middle classes of the country and a little less of that money on the Wall Street bankers and financial behemoths considered "too big to fail" that Mr. Hannity and others are always defending. And maybe if we had done that, the stimulus package would really be working and some real jobs would already be created and lowering the unemployment numbers at a faster rate than is being done now. Actually, those numbers are still going up.

Now the rabber barons and greedy vultures will peck at his wealth legacy, like christians have pimped Jesus and other deities for centuries. Michael was great, but he was humman and frail in many ways. “simple, because they are racist, because they believe that they benefit from white skin privilege, that why serial killers who are white escape capture so many time, Ted Bundy got away so many times its a shame, in one incident tjhe police was talking to a lone nattlily dressed white guy in a rural setting , he had an alert on the guy, he let him walk away. Its why Mr. gates was arrested on his own porch for arguing with a white police officer. Mr. Murray and a cohort came up with the bell curve, Charles Darwin said blacks were inferior and natural selection is what has gotten the white race where they are, they are the fittest and the smartest according to Darwin. Given all of this why is the planet on the precipice of destruction. Why after clearly robbing whites and blacks blind, turning red-lininig, into reverse red-lining to fleecing of America! We are still allowing them to do so. Most right wingers know that the robber barons are responsible for our demise, they say rightly isn't the bilderburgs, its all those secret societies and groups that Bush and Albright formed with the oil rich countries.”

Ever since I could remember, old folks in the family were leery about talking about our ancestry, and I never knew why, until a family reunion a few years back when the whole story came out. “Watcher that's exactly the point I have made on Huffington over and over, I also made this comment on the AARP webpage. Bush took us into a war of choice, that they say woould pay for itself. You know who is fighting these war's, poor kids whoes parents don't have insurence. They went to war without body armor and sufficiently armored mobile units. John McCain and a lot of republicans voted against increasing the military death benefits and other benefits. What I believe this health care fight is about race, I have not has health insurence for five years now, I try to take care of myself and I have used free clinics off and on since I last had employer based health care which changed every year to some watered down plan, and I worked for county government. The domenint culture is afraid that some person of color is going to get something for free. Like Jessie Jackson has always said, there are more poor white people then blk or brown folks at present in this country, there are more of you. White folks are notrious for voting against their best interest mainly on the illusion that they have some white skin privelage that helps them. when in truthy they will always acordding to WASP who are well off, "from the other side of the tracks" poor and exploited.”
missouriwatcher replied on Aug 16, 2009 at 19:38:15
“Spinmas, I agree whole-heartedly with most all your post. However, I do not think this is a race issue as much as it is a class issue. The wealthy, regardless of ethnicity, are almost always able to afford their healthcare. The middle class presently is being squeezed out of healthcare because of cost. The poor have never been able to afford healthcare, regardless of race, sex or religion. (African-Americans, Latinos, and recent immigrants have historically be discriminated against and held down on the social ladder. However, "whites" are really in the minority population numbers nowadays most everywhere--this is why we see and hear so much kkk/nazi-types making noise, they are scared.) But the lowdown is if private healthcare costs continue to rise as they have been doing over the last 20 years, even the rich are not far away from being squeezed like the middle class is now. We should have taken care of this issue properly when the Clintons brought it up; now it will cost more, but really needs to be done.”
