“In trying to respond with a specific quote by keith Olbermann I keep getting denied approval for my post. I'm trying to think of the best way to put it so that it will post. I think whoever moderates it thinks I'm telling you this. I am not. But just a few examples, Keith Olbermann said to president Bush on his show when bush discussed quiting golf during the war, "President Bush STHUp." Or ending your show with "worst person in the world," about people who exercise their freedom of speech. Could he not call really horrible people the worst people. I mean, to me it has no place in news. But more on point. My original post about freedom of speech was in regards to a number of posts I saw about people wanting Beck pulled off the Air by congress and by the FCC. And if you read my post, I said what scares me is how people silence free speech when they don't' agree with it. I don't agree with Olbermann at all, but I support his right to say what he wants, the same as I do Beck.”

“I'm not sure you understand my point. I believe MSNBC has the right to air any programing they want to. Even if its Keith Olberman, a man I don't like. He has the right to say what he wants, regardless of the manner he presents it. He can present any side of any story he wants. That is the beauty of this country. He has the right to say what he wants. You put in quotations marks "hate filled speech." I would ask you acknowledge that I never used the term hate filled speech anywhere in my original post. As for my personal opinion on the matter of Keith Olberman Spewing Hate, I believe in a world of Murder, Crime, Genocide in Africa, and countless other atrocities, to end every show labeling someone other than the perpetrators of these atrocities "The worst person in the world" is hateful. Especially when these people are only excerpting their constitutional rights to speak freely. Even if its an opinion you don't agree with. But more on point. the Purpose of my post was to defend the right of Beck, Hannity, Olberman, Madow to say what the believe, regardless of how I feel about it. "Shut the hell up." Olbermann on his show to president Bush regarding quitting gulf while there is a war going on. When asked about this on C-Span he replied, "Somebody had to...."”

“I agree. It's been a long-standing tradition in the free press (worldwide, not just in the US) for editorial organizations to take a liberal or conservative position on their editorial pages. Their news divisions, however, are supposed to be factual. As much as I personally despise the likes of Beck and O'Reilly, if their programs are advertised as opinion programs, OK. FOX's problem is their news division knowingly reports erroneous information. As you say, they do not "ferret out the truth."

Ms. Campbell should be aware of the fact that CNN has also been quite guilty of the same. Throughout the Bush Administration, CNN's anchor news program, Wolf Blitzer's Situation Room, constantly read Republican and White House press releases on air AS FACT without verifying the information they contained. Lies reported as facts. If and when MSNBC does that, I'd be happy to have them called on it.”

It means there is a protocol to follow and a sign list is moot, because they must still fall back on their agreement and follow the RULES!”
