“Yes, but that's because you're not a repub. Repubs are inherently greedy and born misers. Dubya, being a billionaire from all that warrin', is a glaring example of that fact. Has all these billions, but wants Dallas tax payers to foot the bill for the additional police protection of his home.
Personally, I know a LOT of them, though not as stinking rich as Dubya. These people can't even afford rent, most (not all) have lived off of "socialists" welfare for years via unemployment, SSI, food stamps and such, and when they do have jobs, they send their kids to eat at this liberal's house for days, sometimes weeks on end with nary a thank you.”

“As we speak, the Senate is toiling to cut the health care reform bill from $1.6 trillion to $1 trillion over 10 years. Health economist Uwe Reinhardt puts those numbers into context:
A price tag of $1.6 trillion seems immense if one contemplates the figure in the abstract. It is, however, only about 4 percent of the total cumulative health spending of $40 trillion, the amount government actuaries now project for the decade from 2010 to 2020. That is also less than the 6 to 7 percent that total national health spending has increased each year in the past decade.
And $1.6 trillion is only about 1 percent of the amount of G.D.P. that America can reasonably be expected to produce in the next decade (about $150 trillion to $170 trillion).

Do some research if you have real concerns about the actual cost of private health versus a real public option. Otherwise, your just opening your pie hole with Fox News Speak.. "Universal Health Care Makes Us Dependent?" "Public Option Costs Too Much?"”
