“Ther is absolutly no doubt what so ever that we humans have had an impact on this earth but the big question is how much?I am certain that we are not 100% of the causes that everyone is tring to make us out to be.”
“Personal observation Ray.
People have been calling pot the gateway drug for many years (opponents of legalization) but have totally ignored the blatantly obvious facts that that pot smokers in fact were hooked on alcohol and /or tobacco long before ever trying pot.People don't "drink" a 12 pack or smoke 2 packs of pot a day.so there is really no comparison.BTW pot smokers aren't addicted to it like tobacco or alcohol and are far less likely to be speeding if driving under the influence than drinkers if they even venture on the roads at all.Which one does the least harm and which one does the most Ray?”
“Yup so tell me again which is the "gateway drug"?
I have never met a pot smoker that wasn't drinking first but know all kinds of people that drink but don't smoke pot and that also holds true for cigarettes as well.”

“I don't think it's really bad or should be illegal but most people don't stick to just one. Cigarettes are probably a little less now? (less smoking adults to pinch them from), I'd think alcohol would be the first for most kids?”
“Interesting how most recalls come from unionized companies.Unions stabbed me in the back 3x's and cost hundreds of thousands of people their jobs because of the same greed as the corporations that they are fighting against.Unions at one time were good but they got greedy and through this greed have made the world a much more difficult place to live.”
“My wages have more than doubled in the last 18yrs bringing me to a little over $17/hr,i started at $7.50/hr.
I would be highly pissed if they doubled their wages and i got nothing,i doubt that my employer would double my wages or give me the difference between what i make now and the "new" min. wage. There would be a very large disparity in skilled labor wages and the price of goods. When i started working min wage was $1.65/hr and that money could buy a lot more then than what min wage buys now.The problem has been all along that min wage unlike real wages has not kept up with inflation but to go to that all at once now could have a devistating effect on our economy. Many jobs these days are "go nowhere " jobs where there is no or little chance for advancement, fast food is just one of them.Years ago it provided incentive to move on and learn a skill but now people are making burger flippers their main income and trying to force society to bend to their levels.I think if we were to quit eating ff for say a week they all might start to get the message.”

“You don't read well he raised $50,000 in fund raisers,a little short of $250,000 don'tcha think?Health care providers can't drop you like that anymore but this was 20yrs ago and back then it was routine for them to drop you under circumstances like that.”
“pornography noun (Concise Encyclopedia)
Depiction of erotic behaviour intended to cause sexual excitement. The word originally signified any work of art or literature depicting the life of prostitutes. Though pornography is clearly ancient in origin, its early history is obscure because it was customarily not thought worthy of transmission or preservation. Nevertheless, in the artwork of many historic societies, including ancient India, ancient Greece, and Rome, erotic imagery was commonplace and often appeared in religious contexts. The Art of Love, by Ovid, is a treatise on seduction and sensual arousal. The invention of printing led to the production of ambitious works of pornographic writing intended to entertain as well as to arouse. In 18th-century Europe, pornography became a vehicle for social and political protest through its depiction of the misdeeds of royalty and other aristocrats, as well as those of clerics, a traditional target. The development of photography and motion pictures in the 19th and 20th centuries contributed greatly to the proliferation of pornography, as did the advent of the Internet in the late 20th century. During the 20th century, restrictions on pornography were relaxed throughout much of Europe and North America, though regulations remained strict in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Child pornography is almost universally prohibited.
So tell me what this has to do with cheating?
Porn is about arousal and the different ways to achieve it nothing more nothing less.It has nothing to do with a spouse ,mate, significant other, boy, girl friend. It is entertainment pure and simple.”
“O maybe that person sucks at being a spouse in other areas but is great in bed, works both ways.Sex comes naturaly to pretty much all animal life, marriage is something that humans have developed and is not natural in any way.”
“Porn is about sex period, all kinds of sex in any and every kind of situation. There is little correlation between a person that is accepting of porn and one that isn't other than the one that watches is probably more open minded about it.From what i have observed about people and porn is that usually the women have a problem with their men watching because it takes control away from them (they use sex as a tool to get what they want) and i also believe that porn may actualy help more marriages then hurt them.
In the end it is the individuals who determine what is or isn't harmful much the same as any other human trait like overeating, drinking, smoking, drugs.”

“Exactly. There is a huge variation out there. That's why generalizations like this story just don't add up to making any kind of reasonable conclusion on people's behaviors. I think people are also smart enough to be able to pick and choose what they watch. And just maybe, they can tell the difference between fantasy and reality.”
“No one in their right mind would get a clerk to open a cabinet for a bag of chips when they can usually just go to the snack isle and get anything they want.I usually find that stuff like this usually costs more than if you go the actual isle and get it.Most sheeples won't take the time to look.”

“If they were already buying a game they would get a bag of Cheetos along with it. if they weren't there to buy a game, they would be getting their Cheetos in the snack aisle.”
“Minimum wage is pa part of the problem for sure but not the way you think.”
CASSIE60 on May 10, 2014 at 12:46:17
“You know what I think how?
$15.00 an hour minimum wage gives people the ability to pay their bill and buy food. Anything short of that is being an Indentured Servant.
Australia has been paying minimum wage of $15.59 an hour for everyone one over the age of 20.... for years and their economy is thriving and their UNEMPLOYMENT is 5.4%..... It has not hurt their millionaires either..
