“He must have enjoyed the killing game. Should be a restriction on the amount of time that these people can be assigned to such tasks. You quit the job early you got to remember that there ain't no pension. All that time did go on his Social Security log though.”
“I am old. I grew up with books. I cannot enjoy reading on a screen, either computer or ebook.
I want to be able to flip back to see what I read and re-read. I want to go ahead if it is a book that I am not enjoying. I want decent print on paper.”
“Boy, the people (not sure if they are human) of this Nation need to grow some intelligence.
Waving a piece of tin on a TV set to emphasize a new item does not seem illegal to me.
Where is the 1st Amendment for these people.”

“too bad mere possession is a crime. fix the law and its not an issue. or is he above the regular folks? average joe caught with an empty mag goes to jail. why not him? fair is fair, right?”

“When Rush does it, it's an 1st Amendment issue. Anyone else, not so much.”
“This sexual assault problem has been going on ever since women have been treated as men.
The whole way the services are behaving is stupid. Time to get women out of danger.”
Dirk van Dongen on Dec 27, 2012 at 15:43:49
“so your solution is to take away women's rights and not to punish men. Strange”

“The men should be in jail, not armed and in battle. They are only learning that their rapist behavior is supported in the national services, so why not continue the same when they come home? We are one sick effing nation.”

“Maybe it's time to stop being scared of sex and morality. Afterall, these soldiers, male and female, are participating in one of the most immoral, destructive inventions of mankind. Maybe it's time to look the other way for consensual intercourse? Maybe we need to give them back their girlie magazines and alcohol?”
“Do you remember the "cross-bow" crucifix he used to carry throughout his pontificate? THAT was a sickening representation...of Our Lord. The melted monstrosity looked as though it was rescued from a fire, but was actually "hip" when it was created...in 1967. JP II had very bad taste when it came to art and the liturgy. I honestly think he would have approved and enjoyed this particular statue.”
“Would be a nice idea. But, people and the alcohol industry would make sure that it didn't work. Liquor (alcohol) should be banned, but the try-out of that (prohibition) created a hell of a problem in this Nation. I guess we will never get rid of it. I hope that someday we will double the federal tax on liquor.”

“the tax on liquor is quite high. part of the sin tax. raising the taxes won't change anything. cigarettes are approaching 10.00 a pack in some cities., people still smoke.
alcohol can be limited and legally it is against the law to be publicly intoxicated or to drink and drive. if someone buys a big gulp in jersey and drives into nyc, is it a crime? lol”

“Unfortunately more tax on something won't stop people from using it either eg. tobacco”
