Do 'Good' in This Small World This Holiday Season

“Mr. Bacon, after reading your article I wondered to myself, what would actually make me feel good? How about giving money to people who I know for a fact that needs it. Yes, that would make me feel good. Helping out a couple with a car and some food and maybe directions to a job, that would make me feel great. Going to my church and finding out who in the community is in great need, and helping them, that would be a feel good moment. Since you seem to have no idea what the rest us do with our contributions, let me tell you. We lower class people that pay money to watch your movies, and those of your wife, we actually seek out people who need help and don't advertise what we have done. That makes us feel good, and we don't need anyone to thank us for it. You Hollywood people seem to need praise and adulation for just waking up in the morning. Feel good? How about not asking people to give money to an organization where we have no idea where the money goes. Just a grandmother's opinion.”

Let's recall Jerry Brown.”
