“The #1 problem in this country is not health care reform, it IS campaign finance reform. We are all just pawns in the never ending game between the GOP & DEMS on who can raise more money to get more power.
First and foremost the folks in Washington are looking out for themselves. They only care about protecting their own jobs. Why else would it be ok to give tax breaks to companies that ship good paying American jobs overseas? Because those CEO's fund their campaigns and expect something for their "investment". No big check for the next election unless they vote the way they are expected to vote.
I'm afraid meaningful health care reform is all but dead. Until the way campaigns are financed in this country changes, the people controlling the purse strings will ALWAYS control what happens in Washington.”
