Romney: White House Agrees With Me On My Critique Of The President

Romney: White House Agrees With Me On My Critique Of The President

Commented Sep 13, 2012 at 19:43:32 in Politics

“Mr. Romney- How unamerican are YOU? To decide that it is inappropriate for the embassy to try and quell an uprising with remarks that were meant for those people there who did by the way defend freedom of speech in those remarks but acknowledged and disagreed with the movie that was released, are you saying you support the anti muslim sentiment in that movie? You have said nothing about the fact that America is accepting of all faiths including yours. You were just concerned about jumping on the President no matter what the cost. Shame on you for endangering those people there and the american people with your insensitive rhetoric. Shame on you for trying to be something you are definitely not. Presidential. Anything you say now will never be believed. Polls are showing it.”

“It's too late for Romney to start taking actual positions with details. His credibility factor has been declining. Even those on the fence about Obama will pick someone with conviction towards their positions even if they disagree. Now what will happen is Romney won't be taken at his word due to the many sides he has taken over the past months.”

I'm glad you really don't see color.  I see color when it's used to reinforce silly and inaccurate stereotypes.  Good for you that you are colorblind and will ignore these things.  Ignorance is bliss as they say.”

“Actually when debate was a required class in high school, you were taught to have to take a side you necessarily didn't believe in.  In doing so, you had to take the time to research the topic, and effectively try to debate it.  In doing so, you, thoughts change, ideas change and you were more apt to take the time to understand the other side.  Literature is another place where critical thinking was taught.  Interpretation could be anything.  Ideas in books were discussed.  Which in turn, leads to critical thinking.  My kids got a public education and went to college.  I was lucky that they can form their own opinions but when they do, they are able to formulate reasonable objections on their own.  They don't parrot me or my beliefs.  But they do have to make a valid arguement and I have to learned to respect that. ”

You have given me a lengthy explanation but you have not answered the question.

“My disappointment in the hope and change of Barack Obama is that when I felt he needed to fight and rally the american people, he either chose not to, or came out too late. That was frustrating because I was looking for him to stand up and say, I am fighting for this because I believe it's right. And then let the american people decide that. Instead, I felt let down because I didn't see that when we needed it. The silly question about are we better off than we were four years ago by the republicans is shameful. But in all honesty, my family is better off. We shed alot of debt, cut back on things we really didn't need and learned a different way of life that had nothing to do with material things. So yes, I am better off. The hope and change he campaigned on were true beliefs of his. However, if he really wanted change, I had hoped he had come to us, the american people when he needed us.”

Guess it makes repubs feel superior. When the truth is, more whites are on welfare, more whites are on unemployment and more whites get foodstamps. So do yourself a favor, learn what a real democrat stands for and quit listening to rush. It's damaging your brain cells.”
