“i am no supporter of Scalia but i understand and agree that the intent at the time the memorial was erected may have been to honor all the soldiers. we were less sensitive back then. we should stop using religious symbols in government works but it is not necessary to deface or destroy all things from the past that did.”

“Actually, his mother was not of age to confer citizenship upon him, she was three months shy of her 19th birthday....the law states, you have to be in the country 5 years after your 14th birthday...she was three months shy of this at the time of his (baracks) birth. She COULD NOT legally confer citizenship to her son. Hawaiin law....FACT! Plus, his (baracks)father was a subject of the United Kingdom, which would have made barack a dual citizen...also not constitutionally eligible to be president.

“There is no excuse. While I think the death penalty is meted out unfairly in this country--what this man/boy did is the worst. He took out his anger on an innocent family...conspired, catalyzed others to brutalize and murder--lose their humanity--and rape a young girl. This is the OPPOSITE of what "we're" supposed to be about.
But with Cheney & Co.'s chaotic plan to grab Iraqi assets, they forgot to protect the people (& their museum...unforgivable). He was about pillaging and he is responsible. Revenge like this hurts in a cyclical, never-ending way until we consciously decide to live in BALANCE. That, of course, would require looking at our enemy as a person/human like one's self and not acting in a barbaric way toward unarmed, defenseless families.
