Who Won The Debate? (The Vice Presidential Edition)

Who Won The Debate? (The Vice Presidential Edition)

Commented Oct 12, 2012 at 10:22:21 in Politics

“Joe Biden won this debate and republicans know it so all they are talking about is Biden smile in the debate and how Biden kept interupting Ryan but I do remember That Romney kept interupting President Obama in their debate but I guess that was ok.

Paul Ryan looked like a nervous school kid and he did not look presidential and I know he's
running for VP but if he and Romney get elected and something happened to Romney then
Ryan would become President and he doesn't look like he can fill those shoes.

Next debate I can guarantee that President Obama is going to bring his A game and it's a town hall style debate which President Obama does well in. I can not wait for that beat down.”

sawhat on Oct 12, 2012 at 10:47:08

“And he also (Romney) put on a false smile the whole time he was not speaking... Biden smile was not forced unless you want to count all Ryan bullcrap forcing”

pjdice on Oct 12, 2012 at 10:37:09

“Are you kidding me? BIDEN for President? Mr. Gaff himself?
Do you not realize we elected a President that had no experience to speak of behind him?
A community organizer??? So, he can rile people up and get them angry about any given topic. Is that it?
Ryan is a numbers man. If anyone can get our economy going it would be Romney and Ryan. Obama's answer is to spend MORE money. Greece, here we come!”

“I keep hearing from reporters that Romney won the debate and i'm wodering what debate they were watching. All I say Romney do is LIE. I'm glad that he doubled down on wanting to turn medicare into a vocher program so he can really kiss seniors good bye.

I feel President Obama did just fine as this was the 1st debate and Mitt Romney came across as not likeable. He's standing there telling the moderarator what he's going to do and interupting the President while he was speaking was just disrespectful.

He told so many lies that I couldn't keep up with them all but i'm sure the fact checkers will put their report out in the morning.”

Obama Should Think Big -- and Seat Michigan and Florida

Commented Mar 31, 2008 at 21:10:26 in Politics

“I was reading some of these posts and I read where someone called Obama a liar and a crook, and I just got to say, they must be crazy!

Hillary has proven she's a BIG liar about her coming under sniper fire and she said it three different times and what's the BIG secret about not releasing her tax returns? Says she will release them now on April 14th, don't hold your breath and let us not forget the WhiteWater scandal.

I'm from Michigan and I didn't vote because everyone was told Obama's or Edwards name would not be on the ballot because there were no delegates given in the democratic race because Michigan moved their primary dates and didn't follow the rules.

Rules are rules and Hillary even sent a letter to the DNC saying she accepted the DNC's ruling of not seating Michigan and Florida because they didn't follow the rules but since she is now losing she want those delegates from Michigan and Florida even though Obama's name was not on the ballot in Michigan, what a joke

A lot of people didn't vote in Michigan and a lot of people were mad because Obama's name wasn't on the ballot.”

“I think it was President Obama's plan not to go after Mitt Romney yet and just let him talk and put out lie after lie. I couldn't keep up with all the lies Rmoney was telling but i'm sure they are making ads on them right now. Mitt Romney had no respect for the moderator at all and it didn't come accross well to me. I can say I have no clue what Mitt Romney's plan is to get the american people back to work after watching the debate last night.”

“"Rope a Dope"?

Only works if you acually can punch back at the end of the fight.

President Obama has nothing to punch back with.”

legnotsothrilled on Oct 5, 2012 at 08:04:59

“A rather straight forward poll said that 67% of viewers thought Romney won.

You seem convinced The Smartest Guy Ever was just playing a bit of Rope-a-Dope and will unleash that spectacular brain power in the next 2 debates...I like to have a part of that bet.

Do you think Plugs Biden will cut Ryan down to size, too? That will be very entertaining.”

ATL Clouds on Oct 4, 2012 at 22:56:25

“I agree. I lost count after 28 lies. His performance was full of lies and low on details. I think that, at least for those that actually listened, America is still as clueless about the details of anything Mitt's plans except what our common sense tells us and it ain't good.

From what I'm understanding Obama is a chess player and I can't help but believe that this is part of his strategy. It's just hard to believe that overnight he lost his fire and passion for this fight.”

“I don't see how romney will win in the debates because once the american
hear what he wants to do he's toast. Like giving huge tax cuts to himself and
his rich buddies while cutting programs that people depend on like food stamps,
Medicaid, medicare and the list goes on and on and not to mention he has zero foreign
policy experience and his vp pick ryan has zero foreign policy experience. Mitt
Romney can not beat President Obama on foreign policy. I just can't see romney
winning any of the debates.”
