Hany Farid, Dartmouth Scientist, Says Controversial Oswald Rifle Photo Real

“Aloha Lola.
I am not a conspiracy theorist. Complex conspiracies typically require a number of people, working in concert, usually for their own reasons, to accomplish. Stories like the 600 Fully staffed FEMA concentration camps dotting the US, or alien technology at Area 51, or the replacement of all the gold stored at Fort Knox having been replaced with tungsten, or that Barack Obama was born in Kenya and flew to Hawaii are not credible.
But the JFK assassination in a different story. His motorcade route was published. I was a little younger then, but I was very competent with firearms as was EVERY SINGLE member of my peer group.
I was shocked and appalled the next day, but when the film was run on the news there was absolutely no question among anyone who saw it, then or now. The bullet that killed JFK came from the front. A huge conspiracy was simply not required. I am sure Oswald got a round or two off, but he was firing downhill at a receding target. One of the most difficult shots in the world.
The Warren Commission demonstrated that the government was no longer trustworthy. So polls are now couched in terms of 'approval ratings' which merely indicate, usually incorrectly, how badly a given segment of the population believes the subject of the poll is screwing up the public trust on any given day.”

Texas' Gay Marriage Ban May Have Banned All Marriages

“I am from Texas, but sometimes those people just cannot help but doing something stupid as hell. The ridiculous part is that the intent of the law is unconstitutional on it's face.
If you can't count on Texas to get it right what chance do the 49 lesser states have? :-O
BTW, the Bush family isn't from Texas. Don't blame them on us.”

Obama has and is torturing more people in Bagram than Gitmo which itself is not even closing. Carter respected the constitution, Obama has trampled on habeus corpus, just like Bush did. Carter is horrified at Israeli apartheid, Obama is silent during a Gaza massacre and has not even mentioned the word apartheid let alone do something about it.
Carter never commenced a war in Pakistan or anywhere for that matter, nor sent drones to murder civilians like Obama is doing in Pakistan. I can go on and on.”

Carter was right, and has shown his care and committment to the world, history will show too that he made the right call on issues. The greatest threat to the U.S. is the blind power of self interest, this is Obamas hurdle and I am sure that although it has always been the case, today the power of media and corporate sponsors are all powerful. We have sold out.”

“I don't understand the headline either. This device can't be steered through a 360 degree turn under it's own power, it won't fit on any existing highway or under a bridge or wire......it only travels in one direction...IF the wind is up...and it doesn't have room for anything but one small, uncomfortable pilot. I'd say a barrel over Niagara falls is just as good a demonstration of green power.”

“I don't know why people have such a hard time believing Barack Obama was born in Hawaii but no trouble believing George Bush graduated from Yale. You couldn't GET from Kenya to Hawaii by air in 1961 when it was still a British protectorate. You STILL can't. IF you could catch a Super-Constellation out of Nairobi in 1961 you'd have to fly to the EAST coast of the US and pass through customs and If you think being a white woman with a black child is rough now, you weren't here in 1961. I was. I remember. No one sneaked Barack into the country. Have any of these 'birthers' actually BEEN to Africa? They sure didn't get there via Hawaii.”

Shawna Forde, Minutemen Leader, Arrested In Double Killing In Arizona
Commented Jun 13, 2009 at 20:00:16 in Politics
“According to the reports, the plan was to leave no one alive. ONLY because a woman managed to get to her gun and defend herself kept her alive. Criminals cannot be disarmed by laws because they don't abide laws. A crime was partially thwarted and the criminals identified because the victim had a gun.”
Naithom replied on Jun 13, 2009 at 20:50:57
“Yes, but if we close gun show loopholes fewer criminals and those with a history of dangerous mental illnesses would be able to get firearms. Why make it easy for people with a history of violence to obtain firearms?
Both Dr. Tiller's murderer and the shooter of the guard at the Holocaust Museum had criminal histories, the former being a known domestic terrorist. How did they obtain their guns?
Ms. Forde, according to her own family, had a history of mental illness, how did she obtain a firearm? If she was involved, as the police believe, she was willing to either shoot and allow someone to shoot a second grader.
No one minds when law abiding, responsible people choose to buy guns but as a society the term "well regulated" in the 2nd Amendment allows us to make sure that the mentally ill and the criminals aren't armed.”

If by 'social ret@rds' you refer to organized religion, what a person chooses to believe...or not....is their own business, not Newts or yours. That ideal is clearly expressed in the Constitution.
I don't shove atheism in your face and I pay my own way. Don't refer to me as a ret@rd because of my age.”

CNN may try to walk it back a little, but what you see here is an overt act of rejection. It is a visual depiction, one of the best I have ever seen, of how the world and 90% of America feel about the last eight years. It is a perfect example of Bush's legacy as history will record it. And Bush's body language clearly shows that he understands it is a show of unity against him, personally.
No one could be more deserving of the disrespect.”
