Give much shorter prison sentences, but with alot of physical labor. Instead of a 20 years sentence that cost taxpayers $40,000.00 a year. Give the man or women 2 years of "hard" labor. This idea of warehousing people in prison so that they can work out, hang out with other ghetto friends, and get free medical, food and a place to sleep is a complete failure. Just like nation building.
Legalize POT, , knock down some doors and go after gangs of every kind, go after white collar criminals and confiscate their wealth, just like with the drug trades.
Have the ARMY, Marines, Air Force, and Navy guarding American borders, Harbors, and sea shores for once in the past 70 years!
Give illegal immigrants in the USA a chance at citizenship at $5,000.00- $7,500.00 a pop. Making sure they know English for their own good, and their children's.
Create new trade agreements with China, with open markets for American goods or "NO" Chinese goods will come to the USA, period.
That alone would build back manufacturing for the neglected middle class.
