“It doesn't look any worse than Dave Thomas' original server's uniform for Wendy's from the same era. Although that paper cup nose is somewhat lacking. The style is just a reflection of the era we lived through.
What should be newsworthy is who took over Ronald McDonald's character after his previous alter ego died, since he appears to have been reincarnated.”
“I agree. And nowhere in the article does it say anything about mistreating the remains. We are the future that these ancient people have prepared their dead for the long journey to. They have given us a gift so to speak and I think modern archeologists realize this and treat the remains accordingly.”
“No dog would ever start a war. They may growl a little and bare their teeth and sometimes bite each other but the rest of the dog world is in on the plan and all territorial issues are solved in short order. thankfully this dog's owner came home to lead the pack again.”

“Yeah, dogs don't murder each other or children or old people...oh wait, they do. I LOVE dogs, but they are violent killers when they want to be, they just aren't smart enough to organize and rebel against their human overlords.”
“Although dogs and other domesticated animals may not human, they are living, breathing, thinking, emoting reflections of ourselves. How any human can mistreat an animal that has coexisted with us for eons and asks for almost nothing in return but to be accepted and loved unconditionally as they do us is beyond any rational imagination. This poor dog looks just as sad and rejected as a human would in a similar situation. Ironic then that DOG backwardsspells GOD”
“Why did they waste so much time and energy growing it on his forehead? Why not grow it where he needed it in the first place and save all that additional surgery?”

“Maybe they will remove the forhead nose so they can replace the man's destroyed nose. The forehead nose removal will leave one heck of a scar. I'd rather have a scar on my forehead than no nose. They will graft it onto his mishapen nose. However will the new nose be able to smell? Or is it just cosmetic, like breast implants.”

“...because they needed to graft cartilage and use skiin that would stretch to FORM the nose..the skin on his forehead is the same texture as the skin on his nose i.e. pores, oils, etc. The expander..in the shape of a nose..under the forehead will slowly cause his forehead skin to stretch and form the shape of a nose..I know this from my sons plastic surgeon who needed to use expanders under my sons cheek to stretch the skin so they could remove a cafe au lait biirthmark that had the potential to become cancerous. It is amang what can be done...”
“I'm OK with that. Nobody is perfect. And in a loving relationship you owe that feedback to your spouse. I want to be the best person I can be. But there is a very old saying... "You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar". And it's also impossible that everything I do is wrong. When even my choice in music is wrong then maybe it's time to look at yourself.”

“Well kid, now you have shown us nearly everything you own. Posing naked can be very artistic. Not this time. What's next? Hardcore porn? If you were trying to shed that squeaky clean Disney image, you have finally succeeded.”
“I think you answered my question perfectly by questioning a partner's love to begin with. it takes two people constantly working on their relationship to make it work. it only takes one to become jaded and destroy it. Maybe that person should look into themselves a lot more before blaming it all on the other. Marriage is a journey. Life happens. Some couples can endure all kinds of crisis on that journey, survive and become even stronger. Others, all it takes is the equivalent of tripping over a pebble during that journey and all bets are off. Does the one who bails really get a new lease on life?
And I agree with you about the whole concept of celebrating divorce this way. It is an emotionally wrenching experience for everyone involved. Why not just admit to yourself (not you personally) "I screwed up" and move on if nothing can be salvaged. Two people can experience the same situation, one will look at it as a irrevocable disaster, the other will just say "Well, that wasn't what I was expecting but we have each other, we will overcome". Divorce is not necessarily a liberating experience.”
“In this country the woman has the advantage. It is assumed that the man is at fault. All the woman has to do is come up with a distorted view of the real situation that she has also contributed to and an attorney with his own axe to grind will add all kinds of creative embellishments to it. any lie will do for a start. I now believe in prenuptial agreements.”
“I guess I'm old school but nothing says "failure" like divorce. One or both parties failed to make an investment in their relationship. And both people's lives get destroyed in the aftermath. Why do people get married in the first place?”

“"both people's lives get destroyed in the aftermath."
Really? I think your life is destroyed when you remain in a toxic relationship with someone you no longer love ( if you ever really loved that person at all. ) Divorce offers a new lease on life, in my opinion.
And it doesn't have to be ugly. I mean, these "divorce cakes" are sick. How about just saying "thanks for the memories" and moving on? Life offers many twists and turns and we all change and grow. Let go of the past and see who else is out there.”
