2. Their "deeply-held convictions" don't trump the informed opinions of the remaining sixty per cent of the citizenry.

I call them "tea-baggers" because that's how they describe themselves. The addition of ridiculous hats with taped-on teabags at their rallies simply underlines their ridiculous choice of name.”

It's not a good idea when involved in a "policing action" (yeah, you know it's a war, and I know it's a war, but no one in the power structure will acknowledge it's a war) to change horses, as it were, in midstream.
