“Those are the radical things to the conservatives. Fiscal responsibility: the GOP had all three branches of government for SIX years and the deficit soared to new highs. The government grew bigger than ever before in history, and nation building became a leading export. Constitution? Not when it comes to women's rights. Or minorities. And they love to ignore the second amendment, you know, the entire first half of it that asks for a well regulated militia.”

“4. Protecting Black Op. Stevens rejected more security for three reasons: 1) budget cuts made it necessary to send resources to embassies that were considered more vulnerable. 2) because it was protected by the CIA, it was considered one of the safer consulates. 3) Most important of all, the consulate was a black-ops sight and the reason Stevens rejected security was to protect the CIA's black operations. As a black operation, it was beyond the reach of the State Department. The CIA didn't want increased security because they didn't want attract attention to what they were doing. That's why Stevens rejected more protection.

“What the previous Benghazi Investigations has ALREADY Revealed (Part 1):
1. Republicans Cut Embassy Security Funding. In 2011, Republicans cut embassy funding by $128 million. In 2012, they cut funding by $331 million. The funding was to go to 300 more diplomatic security positions. As a result, the State Department was forced to pick and choose which embassies protect.
2. Ambassador Steves Rejected More Security TWICE. The ambassador who was killed, Christopher Stevens rejected more security. On August 16th, Army General Carter Ham called Stevens offering additional security for the Benghazi Consulate. Stevens turned him down.
Several weeks later, General Ham met with Stevens in Germany and again offered to send additional military personnel to Benghazi and Stevens again turned him down.
3. Benghazi Was A CIA Station. Benghazi wasn't an Embassy or a even a true Consulate, it wasn't even listed on the State Dept list. In reality, it was a CIA station Run by the CIA. The CIA had three times as many people at Benghazi than the State Dept and the CIA was supposed to be the one in charge of Security. In fact, CIA is supposed to be better at security than the State Dept., because they are used to operating in a war zone.
“On your number 3 point I actually think it was more than a CIA "station" but in fact a CIA "black house". Part of the story that is not being told is whether there were detainees on site? Since the Republicans have such a history of overreaching, I foresee this not ending well for them at all.”

“Completely untrue !!!! Stevens wrote several letters & memo's requesting additional security !!!!
“No 1 is a lie, the investigation found that Budget cuts had no impact on the two local security guards assigned to Benghazi. They make less than 5 bottles of champagne for our Paris Embassy wet bar.
2. Ambassador Stevens requests for MORE security were in writing and denied in writing by the State Department. He had NO authorization to request more security from Ham and would have to decline any assistance without a specific threat. The conversation between Stevens and Ham has not been confirmed as valid as the Ambassador is dead and Ham's career was on the line to help deflect questions of wrong doing at Benghazi.
3. Irrelevant, unless the real mission for Stevens was to run guns to terrorists via the CIA location.
What was Steven's doing at Benghazi when everyone else left? Who ordered him to stay without security and for what reason?”

Second, The Ambassador refused extra help from Military Sources because he was still trying to get it through his Chain of Command at the State Dept. If you had any real experience with the Gov't you would realize that if he stepped on his Boss' toes like that he would have been fired.
Third, even the POTUS called it an embassy, him an Ambassador. As did Hillary.

“Sorry, but all of that was refuted specifically in the first congressional hearing by the two State Department officials under oath. who were (1) Ms. Lamb, in charge of making the decision on the level and sources of security at the "mission," and (2) Patrick Kennedy, her boss and Hillary Clinton's chief deputy. Ms. Lamb testified that funding had nothing to do with the decision to deny repeated requests by the Ambassador and others for U.S. military security. If the unsourced rumors that the Ambassador turned down Gen. Ham's offer are true, then the reason would have been that he was denied authority to accept such offers. The Ambassador's requests were made repeatedly in writing--as verified by Ms. Lamb and Kennedy and his final request was made the day he died. There was a CIA station called "the annex" in Benghazi but that was one mile from the "mission" which was staffed with 30 unarmed civilian State Dept. staff besides the two who died. The CIA/former seals who died were attached to the annex and rescued the 30 civilian survivors in spite of direct orders not to go to the mission, then returned those 30 to the annex which was more secure, which was attacked by the same Al Qaeda affiliate Ansar Al Sharia, the group identified by Clinton's deputy the night of the attack in writing. The inaccurate rumors you are repeating started circulating the day after the attack and were debunked almost as quickly.”

“Your 2nd point does not include any discussion about what kind of security would have been allowed in Libya by the Libyans. Why do Americans always assume that we can just send in the Marines whenever we want to?
One of the facts many forget is that no country can increase it's personnel, especially military personnel at an embassy on a whim. The host country must approve all increases, and very few countries, especially ours, allows a military presence beyond what is needed for internal security. Can you imagine China wanting to send a special security force to Washington? How many bases does England, Spain or Italy have in our country? Can you imagine the Canadians sending in troops to force America to build the Keystone pipeline?
Sending additional military forces to Libya would have been unacceptable to the Libyans, no matter what faction was in control at the moment.”

The facts are, in this case, Dems failed miserably to provide the proper support for such a Diplomatic Mission. 2. The State Department failed to increase security in Libya despite warnings. Why was this?
3. GOP cannot cut funding without Democrat Senate passing the bill and Obama signing the bill. Stop blaming GOP for democrats and Obama.
Stop trying to defend 4 Americans being murdered on 11 SEP 2012. We want answers and every American should be demanding answers. IF truly nothing wrong was done then there is NO reason for Obama to be blocking the investigation.”
