“Likely, for fighting, as I was when I declined to take part. The local Catholic school sent their students to the public school I attended for math, science and gym. This is just another attempt to reduce registration of voters in minority districts. I live in a predominantly white suburb of Chicago which has voted Republican for decades. When I go to vote, I walk in, they check my name and wave me over to the voting booths. In/out in 5 minutes. Go into a minority district and it takes hours. Notice how in Michelle's comments she once again calls it VOTER FRAUD? After all this time she still doesn't know the difference? No, this is still the GOP intentionally mis-informing the public to inflame the base. They are desperately searching for a LONE WOLF.”

I replaced all the 1970 installed windows, installed the most efficient Trane Air conditioner and furnace available, sized to be able to convert the attached garage to living space. I had the house painted, new roof, laminate flooring throughout the house. When I had to sell to move back to the Chicago area to look after a sick aunt, and an elderly mother, all I heard was,"no granite countertops, not enough "curb-appeal", (lack of entry foyer,/facade), not large enough for the kids to not be underfoot". We've been seduced by the advertisers and "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" into some kind of fantasy-land. What ever happened to buying a home to live in and raise a family, rather than "projecting an image"? We have allowed ourselves to be the next Romans.”
