“Right back at you. Wash Post, London Telegraph and Newsweek all ran stories in the past week about the Secret Service warning the Obamas that threats against them increased in October following Palin rallies.”

“Why don't they press her to respond to the Secret Service report that implicated her rallies with increased threats on the Obamas? Incitement to violence itself is a criminal act. She should be held accountable instead of getting more airtime to repeat the same discredited garbage.”

“I had three Obama signs stolen from my yard, along with the rest of the Obama signs on my street. We picked up two more signs from our Obama campaign office and added a homemade sign that says "Attn: Sign Thieves -- For every Obama sign stolen from this yard, we will make a $20 donation to the Obama campaign."”

“I once read that the governing styles of each party could be compared to parenting styles, i.e., Republicans opt for the Disciplinarian Father style, and Democrats prefer the Nurturing Mother style. To end abortion in the United States while upholding civil rights and remaining true to the Constitution, the issues requires two parents. Until recently we have only had the Disciplinarian Father weighing in, calling for laws and criminal penalties to force women to carry unplanned pregnancies to term. The new progressive voice, one that sounds very much like a Nurturing Mother, brings reason and compassion to the conversation. The "right-wing" pro-life movement, which has included death threats, assassinations and bombings, has argued almost exclusively for the sanctity of fetal life, separating the woman from her pregnancy, and refusing to acknowledge the life a potentially unwanted child will face. Catholics should embrace this broadening conversation; that's where we'll find the solution.”

“Joe Scarborough, former Republican Congressman from Florida during the so-called Republican Revolution, is host of Morning Joe on MSNBC.”
