“that is heartwarming...romance and chivalry ARE alive and well! met my wife 1/05/85 proposed a month later pn Valentines Day while flying above the Manhattan skyline in a helicopter at night...and here we are 28 years later....”
“Animal abuse situations like this one with Joseph and the one where the woman threw her dog 'Patrick" down the garbage chute are just so inhumanely apalling and simply make me sick to my stomach. It is easy to want justice for this poor pup in the form of treating the owner in the same exact fashion (chain to a tree and feed scraps) I say lock Jereme SHAME Temple in a pillory on public display with a sign "I am an Animal Abuser" and let people throw rotten fruit at him.
I feel content knowing that Joseph is getting the care he needs and that somebody will adopt and give him the love he deserves.”

“Public humiliation should be brought back - forget prison for these people. They get out and commit the same crime again.”
“The bible says God created man "in His image". That means we have the ability to create or destroy as did He) and free will between right and wrong. That includes responsibility and accountability. GOD never intervenes in life's occurences no matter who is involved.
For God to prevent an otherwise fatal airplane disaster would take away someone's accountability e.g. a drunken mechanic who forgets to tighten a vital flight mechanism causing faulty hydraulics. Nor is GOD a fairy godmother or genie who grants wishes or answers prayers. Yes, instances of exception exist where a particular outcome is deemed "miraculous" like a child surviving a deadly brain tumor or cancer patient having total remission. Family members attribute it to God "answering their prayers" yet many other human beings who also pray are tragic victims of their misfortunes and die.
What just GOD would grant some people's prayers or wishes and deny others?
God created all that is...including mankind and the Earth and all that mankind needs to survive,
gave us free will and stepped back and said "Do as you will...it's yours" and with that we are charged with the responsibility and accountability for ALL that happens on Earth and to each other. No we are NOT responsible for things like devastating earthquakes or tsunami's or hurricanes. Neither is GOD. Those events are life lessons that just "go with the territory" and test our resolve and humanity to one another.”
“Who would think there would be such entertaining humor in a string of scrambled egg posts, LOL and such diversity and disagreement. I beat the eggs , add a bit of milk, use a good amount of margarine and pour the eggs into a nice hot pan flipping over constantly with a spatula and YUM, tasty fluffy scrambled non tofu-ized eggs! It's dem darn eggs over easy that the yolks keep breaking on me on that give me trouble, yet I make all these other delicious and intricate dishes without a problem. Maybe I should switch to "tofu over easy?"”

“Try putting a lid on the pan and the eggs will steam so you don't have to flip them. I have a friend that also adds a little bit of water after the eggs have cooked for a little bit when she puts the lid on (I never add water).”
“I used to like her too until I heard she almost didn't sign up to be a Idol judge because of a compensation conflict. She finally got her 15 million dollars. And Britney Spears is getting 15 million to be a judge on The X Factor. Somebody tell me what justifies such ludicrous salaries?”
