Greeener Lawnmowers: Lose The Gas!

Greeener Lawnmowers: Lose The Gas!

Commented Sep 9, 2008 at 04:58:38 in Green

“It is about time the government and the EPA took more steps in curbing pollution from lawn mowers and other small engines. Lets take it to the manufacturers next. I read on http://www.lawnmowersworld.com that lawn mowers produce as much pollution as driving a car so many miles and with so many people mowing their lawn it is no wonder it is so polluting.”

“What scares me is that there are almost as many people who can be converted by this. It is called the mob mentality that is either blinded or scared to vote in some direction and if you don't think these people exist, your one as well. The Republican Party, under Karl Rove, is extremely better at moving the mob to vote with tactics that appeal to the people but not about solutions for them.”

CNN, NBC News Bosses Fire Back: Jon Klein, Steve Capus Dismiss Palin's Media Criticism As Political Ploy

“I have to agree. The Republican Party doesn't have anything to run on and they got desparate with Palin so they don't want to blind the American people again by getting sympathy votes and blaming everyone else. The media and Democratic party need to take off the kid gloves and deliver knock-out blows because if she does get elected, she can become President and terrorist, Iran, and other volatile nations are going to pamper her. If Americans are once again fooled by an outstanding Republican trick probably by Karl Rove, then expect the economy, energy, and nature to all keep becoming worse.”

McCain's New Palin Strategy: Blame The Media

“Can someone explain to me why the media and Democratic Party attacking Palin on issues is considered sexest. The Republican Party is trying to protect her but all they are doing is delivering a message that she is a woman so take it easy on her. It is ridiculous because if she does become VP, she also can become President and are terrorist, Iran, and other volatile nations going to play with kiddie gloves. This is not Wasilla anymore this is the world.”

“go watch that jon stewart clip that is on the media page...that should clear it up for you...”

Redrover666 on Sep 5, 2008 at 20:12:24

“Sure, I'll try to explain.

Because usually with male candidates we don't comment on their legs, hairdoo, lipstick and figure.
Because when a man runs for office no one asks if that will make him a bad parent.
Because we don't usually refer to a male governor of a state as a stewardess.

Stuff like that.”

“The republinuts are hoping you'll confuse their talking points with reality. It's not sexist, but they like simple easily repeated sound-bites as propaganda.

“Can somebody tell me why it is considered sexest if the Democratic Party or media attack Palin. Does the Republican Party and their media really think that she can become President if she can't handle the politcal arena at full strength. Are terrorist, Iran, and other volatile nations going to treat her with the kiddie gloves. Get Real.”

“Great post Jamie. I have to totally agree that Palin is only a desperate grab at the presidency and I would have rather McCain select Hilary Clinton and go on a bipartisan ticket. I can't believe all these analyst claiming her to be the next president and comparing her to Ronald Reagan for such a weak speech where all I heard was "We will go forward with new energy" and "Drill Drill Drill". It shows that America is still ruled by the masses and Karl Rove is a mastermind at driving the masses and the Republican Party only has that up its sleeves after a terrible 8 years. Ship back Palin but not to Alaska where she can destroy the wildlife there but to Florida. Hmm maybe not, she just might order a Manatee bounty.”
