The Democrats' Authoritarian Health "Reform" Bill and the Ascendency of Corporatism in the Democratic Party

Commented Dec 27, 2009 at 21:16:32 in Politics

“Beautifully written piece which express my sentiments, exactly. Hopefully, we can all join together in 2012 to accomplish with another candidate, (only one much more worthy), what we did when we helped elect Obama in 2008. If we marshal our resources in support of a better candidate, as we did for Obama, there is nothing we cannot accomplish!”

Sham of the Year: Frank Rich, Tiger Woods and that Anti-Obama Op-Ed

Commented Dec 27, 2009 at 14:32:02 in Media

“I used to believe, like you, that we were "lucky" to have Obama in the White House. That was before he proved himself to be no more than a cheap imitation of his predecessor. In his effort at courting the right, he has completely turned off former supporters and contributors to his campaign, like me. He has refused to stand for the Constitution he professed to love, and has slapped every progressive in the face on a continual basis. I will work like a dog to replace him in the next election, just as I worked to elect him in 2008. Frank Rich verbalizes how I feel about the situation, and I believe he is brilliant!”

“Obama is worse than Clinton, and we are so tired of these shills. We gave Clinton too much credit, and I for one am sorry about that. He destroyed our party for years to come, and we enabled him to do that. We are sick and tired of enabling these shills. If we see they are liars, we will stop them in their tracks. No amount of "spin" from DLC or DNC propagandists will ever change that.”

“Obama worse than Clinton? Clinton didn't get universal health care, and Obama already got it in the first year of his first term. So why whining?”

“I'm sorry to say that Obama will not do anything worthwhile. He has been more than a major disappointment, and he appears to be spineless. We must get someone to oppose him in the 2012 Democratic Presidential Primary, and I say "Governor Howard Dean, MD, would be ideal!" As much as I hate to admit this, Obama was not smart enough to keep his base. Instead, he listened to a crook like Rahm Emanuel, and he has lost the good will of all but the DNC! That will not save him.”

“This guy is no liberal. I am one, and I disavow him to the hilt. The Europeans are right, and they are probably infuriated that he was given that award. What he is, in my eyes, is an extraordinary opportunist, and this is coming from one who was once obsessed with his winning. He is now doing what no Republican could ever have done, and that is spliting the Democratic Party into two!”

Obama's Unavoidable Cure for the Afghanistan Cancer

Commented Dec 06, 2009 at 14:36:34 in World

“Come on now, Bob. Any way you look at this decision, it was an exceedingly dumb one. We all believed Obama to be an intelligent man, and now we know we were taken. He fell right into the hands of his enemies, and into an even worse conflict than Vietnam. And if this were his only poor decision it wouldn't be so bad. But he has been making them over and over again since January. He is not the man I believed him to be, and I know many others feel as I do. He will NEVER win another election. And I intend to make that prediction come true!”

mixmaster g replied on Dec 06, 2009 at 16:58:04

“I agree with you, wholeheartedly. The elimination of domestic spying, in all of its forms, should be our top priority, yet it is not at all on anyone's priority list. Until it is, I refuse to give one more penny to the Democratic Party. We must continually talk about this subject, which is not usually spoken of anywhere in the MSM or even in the alternative media. It's extremely frightening!”

Why is it any different now? Obama has a duty to break up this monstrosity, which will hurt the people a lot worse than the old AT@T ("Ma Bell")!”
