“Microwave ovens differ as to how they cook. I cooked on High temp. for about 1 minute.
If you mix some batter and fill a coffee cup approx. halfway (any small type of bowl will do), and use the above settings, it should work. This amount would be enough for 1 serving. You would want to eat this soon after it cools so it doesn't get hard or rubbery. You can check for doneness by inserting a toothpick like a regular cake. Add aprox. 15 seconds each time if it's not done until you get the perfect cooking time for youe oven. You can mix batter to suit your needs or refrigerate leftover batter for a day or so.
“During the 70's I owned a Pizza Shop. Back in those days, the microwave was rather questionable and some people had their doubts about them. I decided to invent a microwave cake. I took a box of yellow cake mix, blended it and I put some batter in what was called a monkey dish. Actually this was a small, shallow round bowl. So I filled this dish with some batter and guessed at what number I should cook this cake at. After a couple of tries, it turned out right. I bought some whipped cream and strawberries and topped the cake with same, strawberry shortcake and put it on the menu. I made one to order and out it went to the dining room. It went over so well, I decided to make a second type of cake. So I did the same with a box of Chocolate Mix. I baked the cake, and topped it with canned chocolate pudding and then whipped cream.”
“Well I have been watching "Live" with whomever for ages BUT will not be watching them anymore if they need to put Kardashian on their show. I guess whoever chose to support fake marriages and fake so called reality shows, which I believe are staged, and not real at all, will join the ranks of doing anything for $$$$$$$$$$.”
