Also, you are assuming that the Taliba knew before hand what Al Qaeda was up to. Unlikely.

This Is Not Just America's War
Commented Dec 02, 2009 at 17:40:49 in World
“I think American's have gotten war leary and weary because of the illigimate war the last administration started in Iraq. As a result, American's have collectively forgotten 9/11: It's origin, it's devastation and the shock and fear it brought to our nation.
I remember 9/11. I do not think we can take the chance of letting it happen again. I do not think we can rightfully believe that it cannot happen again.
I am prepared, along with our President to take up the fight in Afghanistan to make sure a 9/11 type attack does not happen again. I am even willing to pay a war tax to help do so.
Thank you Pres Obama for knowing where the fight should be fought, how it should be fought and for what purpose it must and must not be fought.
Pres Obama, I commend your courage even as America has forgotten the greatest threat and attack ever perpetrated on mainland American soil.”

“I love these reports that claim to have clear thought out information on all that happened.
Why should we put our faith in these groups doing Monday morning quarter backing. What I do not see is any statement of the consequences or outcomes that could have been expected if something different (say what is suggested here) had been done.
Americans are so quick to accept stories that what was done was wrong. It is easy to Monday morning quarterback. Americans seem to love to do that. What Americans fail to want to grasp or understand is the true brink / precipice on which the financial system stood when President Obama took office.
If President Obama had done something else and the crisis of our financial system had resulted in failure he would have been blamed. Why then are we so unwilling to give him credit for at least keeping the system afloat. Was the action perfect? Probably not. Could other things have been done? Possibly. However this was unchartered territory and emergency stop gap action had to be taken.
Besides, TARP and payment negotiations for AIG began under BUSH and Paulson ($40M in Nov 2008). Why are they not included in the reports conclusions / critique? Is it due to bias or a direct attempt to gain headlines? Maybe.
Why did the Huff not consider these points when they made up their headline?”

First insurance shouldn't have to cover maternity care as a basic item since he was hatched and doesn't need maternity care. Neither did his wife nor does any other female relative he might have.
Now he believes no one dies because of lack of health insurance.
If that is so, require this man and his family to be stripped of their health insurance. It is obviously not needed. Without it they should get along just fine and surely no one would die.”

Does Humana Have a Free Speech Right To Mislead The Elderly?
Commented Sep 24, 2009 at 11:30:18 in Politics
“Humana does have a right and an obligation to notify its policy holders of changes that might occur relative to their insurance. Humana does NOT have the right to evaluate such changes. There is a difference which the law clearly sets forth.
This is key since much of the literature distributed by Humana is filled with assumptions, misinformation and obvious political leanings. The mailings were also obviously intended to persuade. None of this is not what Humana is permitted to do under the law.
As usual Republicans (who are supposedly the "law and order" party) are only for the law when they think it helps them. Republicans are at best the selective law abiding party.”
