“You are absolutely correct. But in their quest, they will have destroyed the American dream.

Sadly, they have been successful in enlisting the very people they are destroying to do thir dirty work. You only need to listen to the ignorant trolls that post hear to realize how succesful thier propaganda has been in convincing Americans that it is thier OWN government that is the enemy, not the corporate elites.”

Left, Right & Center: Is America Ungovernable? Plus: Men, Women and History

Commented Nov 28, 2009 at 06:39:27 in Politics

“The country IS governable. It is governed for the wealthy and well connected. They control the Congress. Americans are just pawns in the game. AND we always get the scraps.

Legislation is passed primarily for the corporate elite. All of this legislation is designed to move wealth away from the middle class to a small governing elite.

Healthcare reform is a perfect example. The final legislation will not resemble any kind of REFORM. It will be a vehicle to force ALL Americans to buy healthcare at OUTRAGEOUS cost from the very corporate mafia insurnace industry that this bill was supposed to regulate.

The job of our legislators, is to make this happen and in return, they will receive the millions they need to convince and IGNORANT electorate to return them to office. Get enough money, and you can FLOOD the media with propaganda.”

“"I don’t see MSNBC putting these kids on the air. But I do see Glen Beck interviewing white supremacists and Sean Hannity interviewing neo-nazis."

First, the "far left" is basically an illusion. And to compare it to the fascist, neo nazi Republicans that Beck and Hannity support is ridiculous. The Republican "far right' fringe now gets NATIONAL exposure since FOX is EVERYWHERE. AND their intention is to combine the radical right mob with cor[porate interests. They call it fascism. And it is far, far more dangerous and powerful than some "kids" spiking trees and being called terrorists by a corporate cabal that controls the government and gets laws passed to CRUSH any high visibility resistance to their policies.

I think MSNBC had some journalistic responsibility, they would expose how we are now destroying the peoples' right of protest. Very much like China if you ask me.

I think your points are weak at best”

“I agree the left is mainstream, but there are still radical lefties that exist. If you’ve ever been participated in a big protest against march against globalization or the wars you will seen these young anarchists running around in black some of whom engage in property damage.

I’ve seen them personally when I protested Bush’s first stolen election in 2001 and the anti-war demonstration in 2005. Both in DC.

The Dems look and act like a minority party.

Actually, we now have one party, the Corporate Party of America.”

“I am a proud liberal and progressive and I hope this discusting health " reform" bill dies in the Senate.

It is WORSE than doing nothing at all in spite of the Democratic propaganda now flowing like a flood stage river out of the Congress.

We have ALL been had. AND as far as I am concerned , the Dems are FAR worse than the Rethugs at this point.

ANYTHING to get a bill on talkers desk.

DISCUSTING”

WASanford replied on Nov 11, 2009 at 12:56:02

“The problem with this bill is that it tries to preserve and control the private health insurance industry. We should know better than to think that industry would just stand by while we dismantled its highly profitable methodology. I can’t believe that the current bill will serve the American people very well. Time to start over!

Make it simple. Allow those who want to buy into the Medicare system. This turns the bill into a budget matter qualified for the reconciliation process in the Senate. No more threats of filibuster and it can be done in weeks not months.”

Why is it that you righties care so much about spending when it comes to the healthcare for the American people, but have NO problem spending TRILLIONS on wars all over the globe and TRILLIONS on the military industrial complex.

I will bet you HAVE your health insurnace, right??

Republicans are a selfish, greedy, ignorant bunch.”

I remember at a town hall some woman to Obama she was scared that the government would take over healthcare. Obama comes back with, " I don't blame you it scares me too"

The guy can't even stand up for his OWN Government.

He is a useless partner in this fight for real helthcare reform.”

Of course, when the Dems came in they had to raise taxes to try to fix things and of course the Republicans, the ones that DESTROYED the state economy started screaming that the Dems were raisng taxes.

People are so friggin stupid! They just couldn't get it. They will always buy into the tax propaganda.

Obama faces the same problem in relation to raising the debt.”

The great thing about conservatisim, is that it would rather see the country destroyed than accept it's failure.
