“The race of Santa Claus is insignificant and is not essential to the symbolism of Santa Claus

“Greeks in appearance have a look that is distinct from western Europeans like the British. The point being is the depiction is up the the individual artist. Black people usually paint black people, white people usually paint white people. Those depictions are completely separate from the spirit that gave birth to the idea. The depiction came later. Especially since the story says Santa Claus gives gifts to ALL the children of the WORLD not just WHITE CHILDREN. If that were the case I could see a reason to destroy the symbol. Your reasons are completely racist and teach racism.”
Who are the Intended Beneficiaries of Affirmative Action?
Contrary to popular belief, African Americans are not the sole, or even the primary, beneficiaries of affirmative action. Rather, a wide range of groups have benefited from these policies which promote equality by directing resources, outreach and other opportunities to targeted under represented communities.
These groups include women, Blacks/African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, Asians/Pacific Islanders, and American Indians/Alaskan Natives. Other underrepresented groups include veterans, disabled veterans, veterans who served on active duty during a war or campaign, veterans who participated in a military operation for which an armed services medal was awarded, pursuant to Executive Order 12985; and recently, separated veterans.
According to the United States Labor Department, the primary beneficiaries of affirmative action are white women. The Department of Labor estimated that 6 million women workers are in higher occupational classifications today than they would have been without affirmative action policies.
one of those things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.”

“Did not even read your post past the first line I do not care who it benefited, it is wrong on its merits, no man or women deserves the upper hand solely based on race or sex, I do not care who it benefits, It was wrong when when white people did it (not saying all you white people did it but those that did where wrong) and it is wrong when any race or sex does it today.
PLAIN AND SIMPLE IT IS DISCRIMINATION.......”

Slavery was abusive in every way, shape and form. There was nothing good about it!

“"The house slave did at least eat betta. They had the benefit of eatin' massa's leftovers. Life."
sometimes yes sometimes no... massa normally had a pack of dogs that ate better than the slaves..(just so you knows)
but they did steal food .. stole it for themselves and the field hands.”

“Hello whozhiztory; You know what? This is just my personal opinion, but Black people? Chil' we have a gift that is uniquely ours. There is a carriage and character that no otha people have. I love bein' a woman of color. I does indeed. I look at Sista First Lady of the United States, or the late Sista Whitney, Sista Angela Davis, Sista Nina Simone, I could go on ad infinitum. And it ain't braggin'. I am filled with such awe by my people words do not adequately convey the enormity of the love, the pride, the total feelin' of humility. We be awesome. And i don't care what no body, no color say. I know what I know. Bein' Black. GOD bestowed this honor on us. It would be only right that we conduct ourselves in manner in which HE gave us this most precious gift. And yeah we stole. Mighty y/t didn't think we had any sense. He still don't but that all right. We kknow what we know. Thank you for the post. Life.”
