“Hey, Gohmert Pile, we can only hope that your district is incredibly embarrassed they ever voted for you at all, so every other district in the country can stop being embarrassed that you're in our congress. 2014”

“His district is in rural east TX. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that they love him and will vote to keep sending him to Washington. Backwater folks love backwater politicians.”

“The problem is they probably aren't embarrassed by him. And most probably agree with him to a certain degree. So unless he becomes involved in some kind of scandal, Louie Gohmert is here to stay for a while.”
In order to get banks to lend a little more, Watt ordered Fannie and Freddie to give banks more protection against the risk of being forced to buy back mortgages that go bad. That could make banks a little more willing to lend to riskier borrowers."
Critics call Obama funding plan for health insurer losses a 'bailout'
The Obama administration has quietly adjusted key provisions of its signature healthcare law to potentially make billions of additional taxpayer dollars available to the insurance industry if companies providing coverage through the Affordable Care Act lose money.
The move was buried in hundreds of pages of new regulations issued late last week. It comes as part of an intensive administration effort to hold down premium increases for next year, a top priority for the White House as the rates will be announced ahead of this fall's congressional elections.
Administration officials for months have denied charges by opponents that they plan a "bailout" for insurance companies providing coverage under the healthcare law.
“The ironic thing is, it's cheaper for businesses to be safe than pay for incidents later, but they'll complain about it anyway. It's really too bad that humans have evolved beyond survival of the fittest because they guys would have gone extinct a long time ago.”
“Although I'm from California, this article has successfully made me feel like a Hawaiian. I would kill for some good kalua pork, a side of spam musubi and some mango mochi for desert. Here in Delaware, they wouldn't know good food if it smacked them in the taste buds. Wish there was an L&L near by.”
“Satin is a little shinier than eggshell. Eggshell is typically used on walls in kids rooms and common rooms if you have kids so you can wipe it down, otherwise flat is the most common for walls. Satin would most often be used in the kitchen or bathroom. Semi-gloss is used for trim and doors, basically everything that will be touched a lot.”
“Knowing that it is against that companies policy to use hand made signs, I can tell you that is clearly a joke for the sake of a picture. Also, if you've ever worked in home improvement, you know it's the husbands who send their wives in for stuff, not the other way around.
Having mixed thousands of gallons of paint myself, I can also tell you with great certainty that it is NOT common sense that "eggshell" is a sheen not a color. The writer is completely accurate when comparing eggshell to some sort of turquoise for the sake of the story. So get off your high horses. Try selling paint for a day. I guarantee you'll spend at least a half an hour trying to explain that eggshell describes how shiny it is, not what color.”

“So you're the one to ask, what's the difference between eggshell and satin? Haven't needed to buy paint in years, and I use to love satin for trim... is eggshell the same thing or different.”
“When the productivity bubble, that no one really seems to be talking about, bursts, this will only make it that much worse. Although, the sad reality is that mortgages are cheaper than rent, by far, in a lot of places. However, this will just be another housing crisis when unemployment skyrockets again. When you're not even smart enough to learn from the history you lived through, what does that say about you?”

“It was the no doc, liar/NINJA loans that were bundled and sold off (mainly to pension funds of unions, insurance Comps AND GOV'T (COUNTY/CITY), and later betting against the same loans
This is saying F/F needs to allow the banks to lend to QUALIFIED buyers”
“This is one of things that keeps disappointing me about President Obama. Didn't he already learn the hard way that there is no compromising with republicans. We shouldn't be compromising with them anymore, in fact, we need to start making them as uncomfortable as they have been making us for a very long time.”
“This is the republican party. Some voters might say they don't agree with one thing or the other, but they're all in cahoots. If we remove the republican party, we get rid of intolerance, racism, sexism, bigotry and everything else we don't like about humans, except maybe some corruption. Once all that other stuff is out of the way, corruption is much easier to deal with.”
“What we need is a Biden/Warren ticket. What we're likely to get is a Clinton/Cuomo ticket. What we're not going to get for a very long time is any GOP/GOP ticket. Keep up the great work conservatives.”
“You've heard of exaggeration? It's a thing in comedy, but is that too big a word for you? I...made...a...comment...that...couldn't...possibly...be...true...because...the...NY...city...military...is...absurd... Is that more your speed? You're welcome. Schmuck.”

“Hey man with the Huffington Post, you'd be surprised how many people would write that seriously about NYC. I had a guy arguing it is a giant concentration camp in waiting a while back.”
“Because they have a military, not a police force, that out numbers the population. As a law abiding citizen, it's disturbing to me how many police are just standing around, all the time, all day. I even witnessed horse, accompanied by two officers on foot, pull over a Mercedes for no apparent reason... Only in NYC could 1 horsepower be greater than 621.”

“There are 38000 NYPD officers, there are 8 million New Yorkers. Congratulations you're a schmuck.”
