Vote again? not so sure of that, why just vote for the lessor of two evils who will do for themselves before the people. Still have some time before the next election to show us they are there for us and not the powers to be but I won't hold my breath waiting.”

“The Republicans are brilliant, they help load this bill with their own pork pet projects knowning the Dems will pass the Bill without one Republican vote. Then they will say look at the spending bill that the Dems passed and we had nothing to do with it.”

“So, the question is...why are the Democrats allowing the Republicans to add amendments which add pork, knowing the Republicans will later just vote "NO"? A major reason...b ecause the Democrats also want to add "pork" legislation into the bills and politically it becomes a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours". What we really need is major reform on our political system...a re we really a "representative democracy" anymore?”

Christmas, haha they ripped off the date Dec 25th from the Pagans
No one knows what day Jesus Christ was born on. From the biblical description, most historians believe that his birth probably occurred in September, approximately six months after Passover. One thing they agree on is that it is very unlikely that Jesus was born in December, since the bible records shepherds tending their sheep in the fields on that night. This is quite unlikely to have happened during a cold Judean winter. So why do we celebrate Christ’s birthday as Christmas, on December the 25th?
The answer lies in the pagan origins of Christmas. In ancient Babylon, the feast of the Son of Isis (Goddess of Nature) was celebrated on December 25. Raucous partying, gluttonous eating and drinking, and gift-giving were traditions of this feast....

This came from the very top and made no sense to those who signed up after 9-11 to go after those who attacked us and were the true enemy of this nation. One has to ask what was the underlining plan of the Bush adminstration to pass the buck to tribal leaders that they could not confirm were true friends of ours. My thought is he was allowed to go free so Bush could expand is plans to take control parts of the middle east. In the process by taking down two of the biggest threats to Iran have now caused the problems we see today. Us in the military have a name for that. FUBAR”
