“Of course Jason is right about King but the even bigger problem is that the President appears to be giving in to the "terrorists are capable of destroying the United States" theory. All they will ever be is small groups of anti-intellectuals with barely enough capability to be mass murderers. Various drug gangs, organized crime, kids with guns and disgruntled postal workers have killed WAY more people than "terrorists" since 9/11. The idea that we had to send ground forces to Afghanistan because they "sponsored" terrorism is laughable. The idea that Osama and his idiot minions couldn't have planned and executed the 9/11 plots from an apartment in Manhattan and needed an entire country is even more hilarious. Bring the troops home and send them medicine and tractors and we'll save billions in dollars and thousands of human lives. Seriously it will be about a thousand years before anyone in the Middle East has a small nuclear arsenal that can be actually delivered to an American city and we'll all be long gone due to the coming Ice Age by then.”
