“I waited one hour past my appointment time to see my Dr. (time off work) he spent seriously 2-3 minutes with me writing a prescription, I paid a $20 co-pay. When I got the explanation of Benefits from Aetna I hit the roof to see i charge for a 15 minute visit. I contacted The dr office they would not budge. I contacted Aetna. They rescinded the payment. At another occasion a specialist I had been referred to (Neurologist) came in to see me. Never introduced himself, never approached me, went to a desk turned his back to me and started firing off questions. I said "did you read my records" he said "no, havent' had time". I got up and aid "sorry this visit is over, i don't like your manner" he said ' I'm a Dr, not your friend". I left and reported him. To my shock he billed Aetna $177 and they paid. after contacting them they rescinded the payment. I had an EMG, insurance paid. I was called and asked to repeat it because the "technician" conducted test on wrong area. They billed for second test. Aetna rescinded first payment after my contact. I know it's not much but it's little powers like that we have that can send a message.”

“I posted earlier he had of Discoid Lupus which effects the skin but it has been stated by many including Dr. Chopra that he had "Lupus" and was getting injections to manage pain.”

“It is no secret that MJ suffered from Discoid Lupus. There is no cure for it. And yes the disease kills early and there are many comb over issues associated with it and he could have succombed from any number of things that ultimately lead to his death. In lupus the vital organs attack themselves, which is why the autopsy will not say he died of LUPUS. Besacuse of the Lupus MJ was in excrutiating pain EVERYDAY. I know this having watched my Sis-in-Law suffer until her death at age 52. If he was on pain killers he dealth with this unbearable pain in his manner. We don't know what the final cause was. He is gone and all the speculation and attacking of his character especially by the likes of Maureen Orth is so not neccessary. People please email Vanity Fair and voice your complaint if you have had the misfortune to her her.”

“Thank you so much for the link! I honestly just went and ordered it!. $29.95 and worth every cent! I have a huge coffee table that is the focal point of my living room. I keep it stocked with books that are converstaiton. pieces. Every immediately gravitates to that table and the conversations begain. About 7 years ago when I lived in Minneapolis there was a huge convention I believe of black southeren baptist. The convention certer is downtown and everday people would come outside their workplace or run to the windows just to get a look at the hats. You have to remember Minneapolis affectionately calling themselves "White bread" had never seen anything like this. It was the talk of the town long after the convention was over! My mother is in poor health and has given me her collection of hats. I drove from Peoria, IL back to Raleigh last may with the first load. They are gorgeous!

“I agree with you. This writer should not be judging what someone wore. It's one thing to say " I think, I feel or in my opinion" but to say the hat was wrong, jill Biden's boots were wrong is a bit much. Some great in hats, some don't. I think that look was made for people like Aretha and I think she looked FABULOUS! Black people and their hats is a time honored tradition and a culture all unto itself and . I think if anyone could pull off that hat off it would be Aretha, Della Reese or someone of their stature. I personally haven't found a black person absolutely down on here hat. i'm sure someone will now post they are. I think jill's boots were very appropriate. I have boots like them and they are not 'Go-Go" boots. The weather was right and if Jay-Z can afford a Russian sable hat, more power to him! I do think miley looked a bit too mature though.”

“Contemplating a baby at any age is ones own personal decision. My Aunt had her first pregnancy at age 50, after being told all their 30 yr marrriage they couldn't. Then when she was going thru the change, BAM. Doctors tried to encourage an abortion telling her it would not be healthy. They were not hearing it. Now, 2008, both twins are happy heathy practicing Attorneys in chicago. My Aunt/uncle could not be happier today.”
