Hormone Therapy: Synthetic Progestins Are Not The Same As Progesterone
Commented Nov 24, 2009 at 22:28:38 in Living
“I never got any hormone therapy after my hysterectomy in 2006. After my surgery, my surgeon, who is also an oncologist, never even brought the topic up at follow-up appointments.
His silence spoke volumes.”

“kcseattle Whenever elitists utilize the despicable utterance of "complex", one can be sure that the rest of us riff-raff will be at the sacrificial end of things. Healthcare is not "complex" by any stretch of the imagination, every human being needs it. Single Payer Universal Healthcare is the simplest and most efficient of all healthcare insurance systems because it covers all and includes all medical providers in its one network, that is why every free society on Earth (most of them older thus justifiably wiser than ours) sustains and maintains it.

“amber15 ah, BEWARE the so-called "libertarian" ! They stealthily approach as wolves in sheep's clothing (well, actually, they clumsily troll through and stick out like sore thumbs).
Almost every laughable 'libertarian" I have encountered considers a vote-by-majority to be "mob rule" ;-)”

“Just so you know, it was Thomas Jefferson's bill of Public Education for the masses that passed through Congress as law of the land:
"The general objects [of a bill to diffuse knowledge more generally through the mass of the people] are to provide an education adapted to the years, to the capacity, and the condition of every one, and directed to their freedom and happiness." --Thomas Jefferson: Notes on Virginia Q.XIV, 1782. “This commenter foolishly equates boycotting to discrimination. Libertarians do that, twist concepts into convoluted confusements.
What CEO Mackey says IS in fact discrimination, he wants only the privileged to have healthcare.”

“snesich I am thoroughly disgusted with CEO Mackey, and choose to no longer patronize any enterprise that lines his pockets. I have found a farmer's market that is much cheaper and fresher than Whole Foods anyways. Should we really be surprised that Mackey overprices natural foods the same way insurance corporations overprices healthcare? Its all about profits, not health. We have been duped again, but thankfully these CEOs eventually rear their ugly heads.”

“Mackey is a man way behind the times, and if so-called "libertarians" had their way, they would rip the Constitution into shreds. The rest of us would be serfs & peons instead of WE THE PEOPLE. Libertarians are merely elite anarchists who want no governance over their corporations. However, libertarianism is nothing new under the sun, it is simply a modern term for Medieval feudalism. Mackey should go back in time via wayback machine and live in a century prior to the Magna Carta that better suits his philosophy.”

“CEO Mackey is just another corporate hack hiding behind the myth of "compassionate conservatism".
It's relevant and important to note here that Thomas Jefferson loathed corporations:
"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country."
Thomas Jefferson”

“What an incredibly anachronistic (I could use other words but I will be kind) misreading of Thomas Jefferson. Do you even know what "corporation" means? I mean, TODAY? Or what Jefferson was talking about THEN?
What a mindless witchhunt the ignorant left is on: Kill the Corporations! Demagoguery to stir up the mob and consolidate power in the hands of Big Brother.
Do you know that even the humble Mom and Pop store is almost always a corporation (and if it isn't, "Mom and Pop" are not very smart)? Do you know anything about limited liability? Do you know... ANYTHING?
If there's anything like the "corporation" Jefferson loathed in his time, the privileged manipulator of the national purse, it's the Federal Reserve. Which JFK wanted to do away with.”

“Arianna, I guess you earn the Helen Thomas Award of the hour, the day , the week, maybe even the year? It is great, refreshing to see so much come out about John McCain, including from all the commenters. We know it is not easy for you to break the lockstep "love affair" that McCain has carefully cultivated with the mainstream media all these years. There were many times that I was losing hope that so much of this would be buried, and that other of McCain's "stuff" would never even see the light of day. Yes , there is so very much more to reveal about John McCain. What we see so far is merely the tip of his cold-hearted iceberg. Keep digging everybody ! It is all at your fingertips on the internet.”

“No, just don't vote for McCain. He's a Republican (see my comment above). Obama is probably not much better, but I put him just slightly ahead of Hillary Clinton (and husband--that's 8 more years of Bill as far as I'm concerned) and way ahead of McCain. After what the Neocons have done to the world, why would anyone want to see their reign continue?”

“Since when is exploitation being an "America lover"? God forbid we operate as good stewards of the environment with a sustainability program ! Oil refineries will end up being "amber waves of grain" for Ethanol. And using renewable resources of the boundless solar, wind and hydro energy in our country would make all those "America lovin' " oil tycoons as extinct as dinosaurs.”

“The truth is McCain NEVER changed his smarmy spots, there are just a lot of chinks in his old phoney armor now ( a hat tip to bloggers, no thanks to MSM).
It seems that just about everything that John McCain has ever done and does and ever will do includes human rights violations in order to procure land and natural resources to endear himself to his "friends" in exchange to gain power for himself, all under the guise of something else.
Is anyone surprised anymore that John McCain lies to get whatever it is that he wants?”

“This McCainian saga resembles more of a Machiavellian strategy than Shakespearean tragedy. John McCain is the envy of every despotic leader, which is why Bush entourage went after him so hard in 2000, because it takes a tyrant to know a tyrant. George W. Bush, (really Karl Rove) , knew McCain was and is NO maverick, so the Rovian campaign worked viscerally against McCain's clever cover of "...nobility and ... true reformer." The presidential race in 2000 was really just the Clash of the Neocons , and a lot of people see that now in hindsight. But McCain did indeed fool a lot of Americans back then, including this commenter.”
