“The Bard and his fans can rest with assured confidence that he was the main author for the great works long attributed to him. As in many musicals into the 1920's-30's, lines and plot lines were added, subtracted by many directors, cast members often near time of the actual performance etc. And so it was during Shakespeare's day and many other bards then and perhaps into the 20th century to some extent. Another play seldom performed ''Henry VIII'' is another play not fully included in Shake's complete works and is also said to been an incomplete script. So the news of the King Edward play having other authors is really nothing new. As my late, great professor of Shakespeare Dr. Gordon Lell at Concordia College,Mo­orhead,MN, said it is not so important as to looking into who may have helped the bard write, but to celebrate his works by attending, participating in and studying his plays today!”
