“It's all black and white in the minds of union tools. There, that was quick and easy to type, and just as dumb. Sure, unions had a role to play in our society, and then--just like the evil corporate guys--the union guys took it over the top with greed, corruption and irrationality. The worst job my hard-working truck mechanic dad had his whole life was in his first union shop--the Post Office--where the union boss would make him stop work if he had done something like change a tire "too fast." He'd literally have to sit around until the union's "book time" ran out before he could do something else. It gave him a heart attack.”

“When republicans decided to screw the American citizen and cater to the drug companies.
Republican Dennis J. Hastert on 6/25/2003 Introduced in the House as Medicare Prescription Drug and Modernization Act of 2003
Medicare D
it provides a subsidy for large employers to discourage them from eliminating private prescription coverage to retired workers (a key AARP goal; the 2005 Annual Report for IBM estimates that company will receive a $400 million subsidy during the six-year period beginning in 2006);
it prohibits the Federal government from negotiating discounts with drug companies;
it prevents the government from establishing a formulary, though does not prevent private providers such as HMOs from doing so
So much for less government being for the people.
I wonder how much he got from the pharmacutical companies to screw over the American citizen.”

“Wonder how Sarah Palin would react to an armed person attending her book signing??”
nk007 replied on Dec 04, 2009 at 01:51:17
“She would probably salute them because in all likely hood they would be her supporters trying to protect her from those evil gestapo/socialist Obama supporters. On the other hand, however, if the armed persons were opposed to her ideas, she would probably cite that as evidence of the evil Nazi/socia list/ACORN beholden Obama sending his goons to intimidate "REALl AMERICANS" to prevent them from exercising their freedom of speech. Either way the right wingers always win. I am an oldie who lived under Saint Ronnie Reagan when he was the Governor of California. He had no qualms signing into law a ban on guns in cities in response to the Black Panther Party (BPP) members who believed they were exercising their SECOND AMENDMENT rights by carrying guns in public to protect their communities from police brutality! The NRA never came to the defense of the BPP. I suppose that is because the NRA never deemed members of BPP to be what Sarah Palin regards as "REAL AMERICANS!"”
