“This still doesn't explain the lack of logic within the movement. The contradictions and dorment nature of these people over the past eight years prior. Only 2% of these people even understand that Obama has cut taxes. That's pure ignorance. These people are the equivalent to conspiracy driven hippies of the past. I can not take them seriously until they start to make sense.”

“Well it's been a year since the election and republicans continue to double down. Triple down, even quadruple down on their outdated idealogy. It's not disimiliar to a religous faith. It never waivers, why should it? How could all the things they believe possibly be wrong?

One of Obama's strengths is his ability to remain calm while those who oppose him self destruct and further expose all their weaknesses. I honestly thought the GOP would have figured this out by now. Instead, while the party will see some growth in the 2010 election naturally, its numbers wont poll well over the next three years as they continue to oppose and misunderstand the current national mentality. People want ideas and representative government that attempts to solve problems, not ignore them. The far right is standing ever more firm in its faith in economic fairy tales and moral assertions inspired by their warped version of C hri stian ity.

Why not learn from your mistakes? Evolve? Compromise some? Show you are rational thinkers? Come up with an actual solution to a problem? Show tolerance? Nope. That would involve some sort of concession to our president and the majority of the nation who decided he should lead and his platform should be implemented. And that would involve questioning their faith. Stay delusional GOP...keep acting out like children...Obama will sit back and watch your party and its empty idealogy implode as he ropeadopes you into 20th century obscurity”

They all lasted less than a year in a college environment. They probably could not handle hearing that their view of the world might be different than there rests.

Glenn Beck drank and did drugs till he scared himself straight by joining a religion, mormonism, that up until the late 70's said black people bore the sign of the beast.

This is NOT news. Its propaganda by scared uneducated white men. Get over yourself m3tric”

I would venture to say that sometime in the future he will discuss how it all went down, and the moment when he realized he had sold his soul to idealogical base. The Mccain in this clip is the man i supported years ago, not the man we saw last year”

HuffPost Review: Inglourious Basterds

Commented Aug 24, 2009 at 01:24:20 in Entertainment

“I consider myself to be the perfect age to have appreciated Tarantino's career thus far. I first experienced Reservoir Dogs at a highschool party at age 14. I was mesmerized by the cinematography, soundtrack, violence and wit, but found it to be more a spectacle than a story.

Later that year, I drove thirty miles to see Pulp Fiction in an indie theater. I have to say that at that point my critical appreciation of art, music and film was lacking. I can thank this movie for opening my eyes to what true art could be.

I am thirty now and over my adult life no director has had more of an impact on cinema than Tarantino. Inglorious Basterds is magnificent and amazingly human. No one does dialogue like Quentin and the tension is built through dialogue and subtle acting cues. I dont expect everyone to like it, but for those of us that have grown up on Tarantino, Inglorious Basterds is another masterpiece of entertainment.”

After recording with white dylan called him an old soul, and a timeless musician. loretta lynn sang similiar praises. if you havent seen jack white play the guitar in person you are missing out. The man essentially played a solo show at red rocks that sounded more rich and full than any other artist I have seen there. And i have seen a bunch.”
