Sofie Karasek
Sofie Karasek is an undergraduate student studying Political Economy at the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in Public Policy. After she was sexually assaulted as a college freshman, she filed a federal complaint with the Department of Education against the University of California, Berkeley with 8 other survivors.

Prior to working against sexual violence at Berkeley, she led the first door-to-door voter registration drive in Berkeley’s residence halls, fundraised for a recycling campaign in Massachusetts, and organized communications outreach for Cal students working to pass a higher education ballot initiative.
