Olympic fever is in full effect right now. Being in Central Park all day I've seen the reinvigoration of sport in every corner of the park. Yesterday I saw someone do a giant swing on a pull-up bar! This gymnastics sighting has inspired today's workout.

To be a great gymnast you must be superhumanly strong and have great balance, and yet display such delicacy of movement that Mikhail Baryshnikov would be impressed.

The Warm-Up:

  • 10 squats
  • 10 pushups
  • 10 alternating lunges
  • 1m plank hold

Repeat this sequence five times.

The Workout:
Do each exercise for one minute and repeat the sequence five times.

The Cool-Down:

Light jog for 10 minutes
