Stacy Malkan is a co-founder of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and author of the new book, "Not Just a Pretty Face: The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry" (New Society Publishers, 2007). Since 2001, Stacy has also worked as Communications Director of Health Care Without Harm, an international coalition working to reduce the environmental impact of the health care industry. She is a former journalist and newspaper publisher who currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
