Finally, a President Who Knows How to Say "My Bad"

You know -- I could get used to this whole 'change' thing that's going on around Washington. It's sort of refreshing and pleasant.

It's amazing that after eight years of Bush, you forget that a lot of politicians don't try to create that aura of faux perfection, and actually admit to their own faults. President Obama's admission, last night, of his mistake in nominating Tom Daschle as Secretary of Human Health Services - his striking tone, saying "I screwed up" - aside from being far less rhetorical than any president in recent history would have been in that situation, and being far more truthful than most - is such a welcome surprise.
