Steffany Stern is a Policy Analyst in Work and Family Programs at the National Partnership for Women & Families. In this role she supports local, state and federal work and family campaigns, with a focus on passing paid sick days standards, paid family and medical leave, and FMLA expansion laws. Before joining the National Partnership, she worked as an advocate and researcher in Minneapolis/St. Paul, fighting for affordable, quality child care, equal rights for people with disabilities, and an increase in the number of women in public office.
