They're terrorists? Prove it. Oh, but then you'd have to formally charge them, give them attorneys, take them to court. Until all of that is done, they are victims of injustice.

This is a bit like a tree falling in the forest. If there's a radio interview that nobody listens to, does it make a sound?

C'mon, Steph - do a REAL blog posting. Pretty please? This doesn't count.

With all due respect to Mr. Farrell, Gitmo detainees are not entitled to Geneva convention rules, as they were not victims of war crime. They did not fight under the flag of any country, they were terrorists. The Geneva Convention rules are for those Prisoners of wars who fought for their country's. These terrorists are not soldiers, just as Osama Bin Laden is not a soldier of any country.. Dick Cheney violating the Constitutional rights (of terrorists?), is ridiculous. They have no constitutional rights.

IF they're terrorists, why haven't they been charged or convicted of anything? Even quite a few Bushies, including Colin Powell to Rachel Maddow just last week, admit that a large number of those men are innocent, often turned in for personal reasons and/or the monetary rewards that were offered.

So what if they're not soldiers? That just makes them alleged criminals and even the worse mass murderers are put in front of a judge after a real trial.

AmeriKafka is not the name of this nation.
