Today's Right Wing World from The Stephanie Miller Show features verbal atrocities from John McCain's spiritual advisor, The VERY Reverend Rod Parsley.

I remember how Parsley openly endorsed Bush even though it is illegal.
I remember him saying that "If one of those types (meaning a gay person) ever told me I looked good i would kill him" Nice interpretation of "Thou Shalt Not Kill"
How do supposed "christians' reconcile "Thou Shalt Not Kill" with all the killing done in the name of jesus. By the Military and the republicans?
Stephanie is a good egg, but not a rocket scientist. She spends half her show attacking grandparents, constantly calling McCain gramps and grampa. If Martin Luther King had not been assassinated, he would be 79. Most of the Freedom Riders and anti-war activists who demonstrated and faced everything from guns to batons to hoses and the still violent racist predecessors reminiscent of today's racist White vermin that we saw in West Virginia and Kentucky are all grandparents.
McCain's age is an issue. As an old fart, I can attest to that. But listening to stupid Stephanie simply lambaste grandparents in order to make a political attack on McCain shows why progressives do not dominate the air waves. From Democratic Party sycophants like Tom Hartmann and Lionel to idiots like Stephanie Miller, progressive talk radio carries a weak, dishonest crop of Pavlovian apologists for the Democratic Party. Only Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz are at all interesting, and hopefully Rachel doesn't become seduced into simply being another mouthpiece for the Democratic Party.
Michael Savage was playing The Dead Kennedys today, gleefully celebrating Ted Kennedy's brain tumor, but people come here to beef about Stephanie Miller's jokes about the 72-year-old Republican candidate's age. How about that.
You don't get it. I couldn't care less what Stephanie says -- I judge mediocre humor and below mediocre political commentary from the source from whence it comes. But if her goal is to get Obama elected, it doesn't help to make personal attacks on a key voting constituency who actually votes -- seniors. We're not exactly sensitive, but when a never-ending barrage of attacks are made based solely upon age, even though many of us seniors have contributed more and still contribute more to the struggle for human and civil rights and peace than Stephanie ever thought of contributing or has the courage to contribute, it gets old fast.
An oldster joke every once in awhile is fine. When she uses old jokes because she's too lazy to thoroughly research and expose McCain's parade of activities that prove he's a two-bit, barbaric, cowardly, lowlife who is bought and paid for by the wealthy -- and will support torture, bigotry, gay bashing and repression of the Constitution while seeking the image of "maverick" who opposes those things -- then she's nothing progressive at all (I know, time for a fart joke).
She may have been one of those kids who never listened when her parents told her to study, and so she never learned anything.
Or maybe I'm being too harsh and should dignify the likes of Michael Savage by attacking that lying, stupid moron.
