Working with computers since the early 80’s, Stephanie is President and CEO of GeekGirl Consulting LLC, a computer consulting company, in suburban St. Louis, Missouri. A life-long technology enthusiast, and slightly outspoken, she occasionally writes on issues affecting computers and technology.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she is also a life-long Cubs and Bears fan, and is still holding her breath waiting for the cubs to make it all the way.

A declared political cynic and independent, she is a strong supporter of Barack Obama and his desire for change in government (She won’t hold it against him that he is a White Sox fan).

She has been married for 10 years to a journalist and blogger, who is also a rabid Cubs and Bears fan and Obama supporter.
