Who Is Missing From Meet the Press?

I just received the weekly e-mail announcing the guests on Meet the Press for next Sunday. It seems to me that someone, or rather a category of someones, is missing:

That's right. There is no Democrat! Well, they didn't do much this week.

At least McCain and Lieberman are fresh faces ... and good spokespeople for the need to change our Iraq policy.

Maybe I am wrong and these two are going to make news by announcing a joint ticket for 2008 for the new American Likud party.

This is such a caricature of the Meet the Press booking policy, that it is difficult to believe that it is true.
