Stephen Shames started LEAD Uganda (www.leadugand.org) which locates forgotten children with innate talents and molds them into leaders. LEAD Uganda, run by Concern for the Future, an indigenous Ugandan non-profit, finds bright, motivated AIDS orphans, former child soldiers, and children living in refugee camps. LEAD Uganda sends them to the best schools and provides them with everything they need to succeed.
