Have any of them been to Cuba? For a few hours, it seemed that only Barack Obama's passport files had been breached.

Now we know that both John McCain's and Hillary Clinton's passport information have also been breached.

Rumor is that they'll all get a courtesy call from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to let them all know that they were all equally violated -- so no chance of "breach envy."

No, I'm really not going to make a habit of competing with Andy Borowitz.

The CEO of one of the companies linked to the improper access to the passport files of presidential candidates is an adviser to the Obama campaign. When the story broke, I had suggested that this was a deliberate breach, calculated to cause a controversy, a "scoop" to be used in future in case Obama's poll numbers take a dive as is the case now and to garner sympathy for Obama. I am sure the supervisors indirectely encouraged or made suggestions to the worker to breach the files just for "fun.". The workers are the innocent dupes in this whole sorry saga. Obama is really the candiate from hell.

It's a ruse, a cover so that Obama can't run with indignity and outrage of that breach of security. Hey, it's happened to all of em'.

Telecom immunity. We have satellites up in space
capable of pinpointing us in a crowded city. Oh goody,
a new conspiracy! Maybe it's a new trade deal.....

Obama's breach is so different from Hillary and McCains breach.

A Reporter called the State Department and asked them about the breaching of Obama's files. Why was that?

Obama's files were breached On January 9, after Obama won Iowa;
then on February 21, after Obama won South Carolina and on March 14, the same day the Pastor's sermons were released.

Come on it seems as though The State Department added Hillary and John McCain's after the fact to try and cover up Obama's breach.

Again the Bush Administration thinks the American People are stupid and cannot see through the deception.

Unlike Hillary and McCain, Obama's passport file wss breached 3 times. Coincience? I do not think so. Plus it was not the Obama camp that broke this story but the media. Given that his records were accessed and the correct protocols were overlooked, calls for an investigation are in order. Nobody owes Hillary an apology. And I am appalled that this writer would think that this is much ado about nothing.

Why is Obama owed an apology and not Hillary??

Is three the threshold after which you get an apology?

I am waiting to see all the Hillary haters now apologizing for saying that "Hillary was no doubt behind this".

Don't hold your breath. These people have no shame. Hillary Clinton is their all-purpose scapegoat, and everything and anything can be blamed on her.

@SilerMarriott Obama isn't ready for primetime? Then why has he trounced a "vetted, seasoned" candidate with the "Clinton" brand in 30 states? Why has he earned the confidence and support of nearly as many superdelegates as Clinton?

As for the passports, this is no overreaction. Breach of passport security violates the law! You know, the "law," you know, those fancy rules that land people in jail.

As for your thinly veiled "big state" argument --CA, NY are not swing states! TX and OH are red states! What do you know? There goes 4/5 of Clinton's 5 big wins. Obama has greater potential in swing states because he paid attention to all 50 states. Clinton can't win by cherrypicking states. The electoral map changes from cycle to cycle because some candidates move people to choose a different course.

I have voted with my head AND my heart. And I stand behind Barak Obama for president.

would just like to say--this is another good example of the immaturity and not ready for prime time nature of Obama's campaign and how left leaning establishments such as the Huffington Post are so infatuated with Obama. His campaign over-reaction to this is obvious (McCain & Clinto were breached as well and responded in a measured mature way) -- stop trying to change the subject, now that the press have woke up from the dream of Obama the reality is sinking in. The democratic establishment including delegates better wake up and think with their brains instead of their hearts. The states Obama won will not vote for him in the general and they do not add up from an elctoral college stand point.

Grow up people!!

Why did the Repugs vote for Hillary in Texas with over 100,000 votes and she still did not win Texas.

In Ohio, the Repugs again on Russ orders votes for Hillary over 100,000 votes.

What makes you think Hillary will win those states without the Repugs votes.

You people are drinking Bill Clinton's milk. The Pastor is going to sue all the Pundits and News Networks that sliced and diced and distorted his Sermons FOR DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER.

And he will win this suit.

It would be nice if we had Adults in charge for the World to see just how honest and fair Our Great Country truly is.
And how we DO NOT practice our Democracy by Lynch Mob Mentality

Go to Trinity Unity church page and see why Barack didn't denounce or disown the man the un-edited version in context of Pastors Wright sermons. In the link below

Please Americans go to the link at youtube and see the complete tapes and you will see what Fox News and all the other right wing Pundits do not want anyone to see.

Oh come on - For nearly 24 hours everyone thought only Obama's file had been accessed - and it was - 3 times. It was an outrageous breach of privacy and Obama's camp was right to call for an investigation - which revealed (today) breaches in the McCain and Clinton records.

If you read the article, Clinton's and McCain's camps haven't responded to this latest information, and that both their files were accessed once - Clinton's last summer as part of a "training" session, and McCain's recently by the same person that recently accessed Obama's.

I don't think there was policial malfeasance going on. I agree that this was curiousity (stupid yes - but then curiousity did kill the cat). However, I don't think that Obama's camp saying that this was an outragreous breach of privacy and security is out of bounds. This is a guy who has secret service protection because of the death threats he has been receiving since he started running for President. The fact that his private information was snooped into by some unknown individual should be a concern.

BTW - last night, when asked to comment on the story (before it became known that Clinton's file had been accessed also) - Howard Wolfson, Clinton's spokesman - said it was outrageous.

Grow up? I think we're ready to grow past the siege mentality and violation of civil rights that the Repukes resort to in order to retain power at any cost.

Hillary voted to authorize Bush's war in Iraq. Hillary voted to continue funding Bush's war in Iraq. Worse still, Hillary voted for Kyl-Lieberman, which is nothing but a back door for Bush's next war... with Iran. Hillary is a WARMONGER, and nothing she says or does erases the shame of HER VOTING RECORD and her lack of any kind of legislative record which would substantiate her claim of DISTINCTION AS A UNITED STATES SENATOR! She is a phony and her credentials are a sham.
