In his commentary posted to his web site on 5/21/09 and in newspapers who use his column, Bill O'Reilly wrote..."...abortion zealots are branding pro-life people 'anti-woman' and 'anti-privacy.' The left knows it has a powerful cannon with this bigot stuff." In labeling the Pro-Choice siders (without once using the accepted Pro-Choice moniker) as the evil-doers in this seemingly balanced no-win debate, O'Reilly neatly ignored every Pro-life side inflammatory branding of Pro-choicers such as "baby-killers" or "infanticide" nor mentioned any Planned Parenthood and clinic bombings or the displaying of horrific pictures of aborted fetuses or incessant comparing of legal abortions to the Holocaust.
And as if the murderer was awaiting permission to try and even the score that O'Reilly purported to weigh so heavily in the Pro-Choice corner, Dr George Tiller was shot to death by 51 year old Scott Roeder.
Over the years, Dr. Tiller's clinic was the site of mass demonstrations as well as being bombed in 1985, and Tiller himself was shot him in both arms in 1993 by an anti-abortionist. None of those actions was mentioned in O'Reilly's column noting the "abortion zealots" and the "left's powerful cannon."
Certainly, those right wing broadcast Lords of Loud like O'Reilly aren't actually shooting the gun, but their daily attacks of disingenuous damnation of the left might easily motivate the fanatic's hair trigger.
O'Reilly made the subject of one Factor Talking Points Memo, "killing babies." In it, among other incendiary comments, O'Reilly said "Tiller is executing fetuses," and "had killed thousands, thousand of late term fetuses."
This is not the only time O'Reilly has referred to Tiller as "Tiller the baby killer" or that Tiller was "executing babies about to be born" or attacked any person or group that had not those who weren't trying to put Tiller away, saying, "Apparently, executing viable fetuses in the womb is okay with Human Rights people" and that Kansas governor, Kathleen Sebelius "is protecting Tiller" and "has blood on her hands."
Will O'Reilly use his TV soapbox to castigate this assassination and in doing so admit to his previous comments and columns were unfair? Or if he mentions the murder will he ignore his part as he did when he mused that teen Shawn Hornbeck somehow enjoyed his hostage taking and sexual abuse, instead explaining that he had been misunderstood.
My guess is that he won't change his deceptive style because he can't. Like the alleged murderer Tiller, sociopaths cannot comprehend their own wrongs anymore than a leopard can change its spots. And just like every show before, O'Reilly will come out, spots and all, telling like it isn't.

And where's the condemnation from the Right Wing-Nuts about the statutory rapist who fathered the 14-year-old abortion patient's aborted fetus? She didn't conceive it by herself!
The answer to this question is one word. Yes. Further, he should be held accountable in public opinion if nowhere else.
You forgot to mention Ann Coulter. Is it just an ugly coincidence that Coulter mentioned Tiller in her column less than two weeks ago, sarcastically suggesting that "Tiller the abortionist" should be called on by Notre Dame to perform an abortion on stage??
