The biggest question on the Fox News poll front isn't "How many ways do you think the economic disaster is Obama's fault?" That's second. Now that Alan Colmes has vacated his seat on Fox's Hannity & Colmes, the leading poll is "Who should replace Alan Colmes on Hannity & Colmes?"
The first thought that comes to mind is someone with the last name of Colmes. Saves a bunch money on changing all that expensive letterhead and Fox graphics. Alan's wife, Jocelyn, comes to mind, but I suspect she far too busy with helping Alan haul home all the death threats from liberals that he stores at the Fox News warehouse.
Jon Stewart ain't gonna happen. The money has been on a number of other Fox libs, including Bob Beckel, Ellis Henican and Kirstie Powers. KABC Doug McIntyre and Prof. Marc Hill wouldn't be bad at all. Confidentially, while my impartial choice would be this column's writer, my second choice would be the one I actually believe to be perfect...Jones Radio syndicated talker, Stephanie Miller.
Why? Let me count the ways.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5... Get it?
No really. Stephanie would be perfect...for the viewers, for Sean, and most of all, READ ALL THE HANNITY & MILLER RATIONALE HERE.

Fox has Libs? Now that IS news.
I Like Miller but I'm not sure she's good in a debating format. I don't have access to her show anymore so I do miss hearing her.
These two belong together. No way around it.
This would be a perfect pairing. Stephanie is hilarious. She also talks often on the air of her personal relationship with Hannity, even texting him during his show. My guess is there would be some tension between them that would be entertaining, and Steph would throw darts at Hannity and FNC's absurd premises, e.g. "Are liberals destroying America? We'll ask our panel."
But I don't know if Steph would want to sell her soul and work for FNC.
Stephanie would never do for the position, because unlike Colmes she would actually BE a liberal on Fox news, and she would be able to eat Hannity for lunch!!! Not to mention the fact that then I wouldn't be able to listen to her Air America!!! You're trying to take away the funniest three hours of my day here Steve!
gee, is air America still on?
If you'd stop watching Fox News for a bit you could find out yourself!
She's not America, although many AA affiliate chose HER show rather than the AA network show. She's actually with ... well it used to be Jones Radio that also had the awful Neil Boortz, now its some other company.
But she's not actually an Air America show.
She's not on "Air A,merica" She's on Jones radio ( big difference )
Whatever it is, I hear Air America on my local station.....
nail meet head
I always thought achieving objectivity when it comes to the works of politicians was not the most difficult thing in the world. Has Bush been a good president for the past 8 years? I would say no. He was seen by most Americans including myself to have started off well with his clear and well thought out response to the “911” attack, but what followed, in my judgment and in the judgment of more than two thirds of our citizens were blunders on too many fronts to allow for Bush to be considered as having been a successful president.
Now comes President Elect Obama, and even before his term of office starts, the debate has begun over how well he is doing and how good his political appointments have been to date.
I tend to listen to the debates and even to the news of his appointments with only half of my normal attention. After all, I think to myself, the proof will be in the pudding. He’ll either do well or he won’t and we’ll begin to see how well he is doing only after he takes office.
But I did hear an interesting response from someone to the excitable critics of Obama. It went something like this: “Obama speaks and acts, and the market goes up 900 points in two days. So one could say ... so far, so good.”
obstruction is way now
