In a last ditch effort to associate Barack Obama with corruption while connecting him with what most columnists at National Review call, "a stinkin' sinking ship of a campaign," John McCain will propose his plan to have vice presidential pick, Sarah Palin join the Obama/Biden ticket during tonight's debate.
"We know it's a long shot," points out McCain spokesman, Tucker Bounds, "but America is looking for a President who isn't afraid to contribute his vice presidential nominee to his opponent. Once again this shows that John McCain is a maverick who... READ THE REST OF THE SHOCKING PLOY HERE.

I think "Joe" the plumber was the surprise. He looked downright giddy when he first brought up "Joe" the plumber. Something doesn't seem right - there are no coincidences - was "Joe" the plumber a set up for McCain.???????????????????????????
Wow, that was......
The worst debate I have ever seen in all of my years of voting.
McCain made some inroads at the beginning, but by the end, I think he devolved again into the rotten, mean old man next door.
Obama did not improve himself, he stayed on the safe and narrow path.
Neither won, and the American people lost
Give me a break. This is not reality TV. This is not big brother. This is not Jerry Springer. This is a presidential sit down talking debate where two civilized people discuss their policies.
What did you expect? Someone to throw a chair or something?
Jeesh.
HE SHOWED UP !!!!!
SUPRIZE SUPRIZE .
Still waiting for the surprise
I'm a Democrat and McCain embarrasses me. I'm embarrassed that almost half of America is either in McCain's corner or undecided. Just imagine for a moment that McCain was meeting with various heads of state and discussing issues that cause disagreement. He blinks, rolls his eyes, fidgets, huffs, puffs and tries to blow the house down. He's such a pathetic excuse for an American hero.
It is sad that because Obama is a Black man he has to be so scrutinized. i was always taught that we have to be ten times better and this presidential election proves it. Obama is head, shoulders, knees and toes above McCain and yet this election is still considered "close" in most polls.
I am so ready for November 4 so we can move on to bigger and better things.
Correction, Its not half the country
Its not close.

.....and arms and hands and elbows and clavicle......and any other part you can name above....(smile) I couldn't agree more.
His "surprise" fell flat.
Probably both candidates would agree that "Joe the Plumber" is a "small business," but I also got the impression that Mc Cain thinks Wall*Art is a "small business."
The surprise is that they had a plant named "Joe, the Plumber" who was lucky enough to get close to Obama for a sound bite. Then they used it.
Big surprise - Joe the Plummer - smirks - smears - Joe the Plummer - grimmace - spread the wealth - Joe the Plummer - Ayers - smirk - pro abortion - smirk - he's going to raise your taxes - smirks
Mc Cain is desperate. Perhaps someday he will rethink his picking Sarah Palin in the first place.
What was his thinking ....exactly? Why would he need to call Hilary about economics why not ask Sarah?
the surprise should be McCain falling to his knees in tears.
his ONLY hope now is the Sympathy Card
I also am hoping his surprise is a concession speech. Anything to get rid of Palin early may salvage any respectability he has left.
what? i dont get it. i wish he would stop playing silly games and pulling stunts.
This is a joke?
He could shock the nation by announcing that he watched his first Youtube video!
