Well, I'm guessing the Clinton campaign feels pretty swell getting the Bill O'Reilly fair and balanced treatment during her interview last week.

Wonder if Bill happened to mention to her staff that on the same show they would bring on Dennis Miller to eviscerate her (what, wasn't Dick Morris available?), something a caller on Monday's Radio Factor accused Bill of?

Of course, BillO chastised the caller...

Bill said that all Dennis was doing was critiquing Bill's approach.

"I would not allow anyone to be eviscerated - not Hillary Clinton, not John McClain, not Barack Obama - after they were on. So, you're not telling the truth. Bad on you."

Ahem. Bad on whom, Bill?

Not eviscerate?

Miller likened Hillary to a spoon first, back-stab later, Survivor contestant and referred to her as Pinky Tuscadaro (Dennis is so many syllables ahead of me, so that one may have gone over my head). In reference to healthcare, Dennis wanted to know where she was when she was on the Board at Walmart, and then, obviously irritated, said, "you know what I'd like from Hillary Clinton I'd like her to be polite about it. This whole thing where she's in a bind now, so she comes down and she slums with Fox, it's starting to bother me." Obviously, he did not care that Hillary didn't come to Fox on hands and knees with a hardy "I'm not worthy."

Why don't we all watch and decide whether it was the caller or Bill who was no telling the truth.

Careful, Barack. If you're really considering coming on with O'Reilly, don't be surprised if your appearance on the Factor is followed by a interview critique by Jeremiah Wright.

Award-winning television writer and author of "Great Failures of the Extremely Successful," Steve Young' s "All The News That's Fit To Spoof" appears in L.A. Daily News opeds every Sunday on the same page with Bill O'Reilly's...really.

Hillbilly,

You missed the point. O'Reilly waited until Senator Clinton was off the air and then brought in Dennis Miller to gang up on her. Real tough guy. I'm sure the former editor of the Harvard Law Review is shaking in his boots over a possible intellectual smackdown with the likes of Bill O'Reilly.
If O'Reilly was as smart as he was loud, he'd be dangerous. Watch O'Reilly's exchanges with Phil Donohue and Geraldo Rivera on YouTube if you want to see how skilled he is at the intellectual martial art of debate. As soon as he sees the argument isn't going his way, he starts yelling. When it comes to the sweet science of reasoned argument, Bill O'Reilly is a freakin palooka.

Man.

I am NO Hillary Fan, but that sucked. Talk about being thrown under the bus.

Barack, you better get a clue. Fox will never change it's stripes.

Pretty weak, huh. Two regular guys, just hangin out, dissin the chick.

"Did you see Susie, dude?"

"Man, hasn't her ass got fat? "

"Damn straight, brother."

What in the world is wrong with Dennis Miller? I think he had a nervous breakdown after 9/11, forgot how to be funny and ironic and turned into a sad parody of himself.

When you're reduced to trading bon mots and barbs with the falafel man it's time to grow your flouncy hair back, give it a flip and get edgy again. Better to rant, then curmudgeon yourself and us to death

Please Dennis, find yourself again. You use to be so cool.

PS: It's not the best joke. but I think the Pinky Tuscadero reference was aimed at Senator Clinton's image as tough. But TomR is right . It was more under, than over, your head

Miller wants to know where Hillary was when she was on the board of Walmart. Conservatives want progresssives to live their whole lives in poverty or they are not happy. Conservatives always have some feigned indignation about something or other. I thought liberals are supposed to be the politically correct crowd. Conservatives are always angry at some perceived slight.

O'Reilly said he went in close and it was close combat with Hillary. That shows his mentality. Interviews are not combat. They are meant to elicit information and see how well candidates may think on their feet, but not to humilate them and roll them through the mud. These two guys are crazy. O'reilly is mad that Rev. Wright has a Mercedes O'Reilly could go out and buy ten of them today.

Or under your head. You didn't miss anything, just another meaningless obscure reference and attempted insult. Tuscadaro was a character who appeared on a few episodes of the TV show Happy Days, some decades ago, as Fonzie's girlfriend. She wasn't a backstabber, so I don't know what Miller is talking about.

Senator Obama, you have no business going on Bill O'Reilley. You have endured much, won the hreats of many and now have millions who admire you and want to see you lead us. Do not squander the opportunity and priviledge by going on O'Reilley. You know that will be demeaned and devalued on the show. Americans of all walks of life; poor or rich, black or white, native Americans, Hispaniscs and Asian American have stood with you. Do not let them down; do not mess this up by pandering to the loud mouths on FOX. Just don't.

That was hilarious. Terminally dumb, but hilarious.

If your grandiloquent, done-nothing hero were anything like the laughable image you have of him, he would blow those "loud mouths" away. Since he's not, he's afraid of O'Reilly, who would of course easily kick his ass in any debate that turned into an asskicking session. Another problem for Obama is that he'd feel pressure to handle O'Reilly as well as Clinton's wife did, and he can't. Anyway, O'Reilly would be way too easy on the tyro, like he was with Hillary.

It's too bad that the democrats couldn't find a better candidate that Hillary Clinton.
