Savage Hiding Behind Hyperbole and Other Literary Devices

Last week my son Ryan and I wrote of talk show host Michael Savage's
remarks concerning Autism. Ryan's beautiful eight-year old daughter has
been diagnosed with Autism. Ryan and his wife fight for Rebecca's rights
and happiness nearly everyday. We've received some supportive email, but
we have also been subjected to rather nasty attacks from Savage
apologists.

Savage even read a letter of support from the CEO of his one of his long
time sponsors, gold and silver trader, Swiss America, Craig R. Smith. Smith, a
columnist at the far-right WorldNet Daily, isn't unfamiliar with the
bomb-throwing territory, calling MSNBC, Time Magazine, Chris Matthews and
Michael Isakoff, "unpatriotic haters of this country." In his note, which
Savage read to listeners on Tues night (7/22), Smith called people like
my son and I, "Neanderthals" for questioning Savage's integrity.

I don't have the time, to respond to each of the good doctor's defenders
indivisually. but I wanted to clear up a few misconceptions that Savage, his sponsor
and many of his fans might have about myself, Ryan and literary terms in
general.

1. Neither of us are Neanderthals. Neither were Ryan's grandparents who
would have had to have been for he or I to be considered such. Not
hyperbole as much as questioning your standard evolution, which I
understand you're not entirely sure of.

2. We're not Sodomites either. This isn't even close to hyperbole as
we're not even a little bit Sodomite. Nothing against Sodomites, but our
wives and past girlfriends can attest to the fact that we could barely
talk them into READ THE REST OF THE STORY HERE.

Thank you Steve, for saying what needs to be said. These media monsters get to make up whatever they want about people and generally go unchallenged. You let them have it!

Savage is the worst kind of liar. A self righteous one. Bullies HATE being called on their crap. They want to be able to do as they will unimpeded. IMPEDE this tub of bile, Steve! Impede the Hell out of him!

His fans and defenders appear to be made up of angry and bitter people. Weiner has tapped into the id of man and profits from feeding our dark side.

There are lots of stupid people who think they are smart. Anyone defending a hater like him is in that category.

Michael Savage's remarks paint a picture of an ignorant bully, sustained by his own destructive energy. Appealing to his sense of morality, ethics and humanity are fruitless; he has none
of these. His career success feeds off the indignation and outrage of those who do. Like any worm, he should be hooked as bait, thrown out to sea, and eaten by sharks. In his case, the sharks would be his employers,
and those who carry his show,
as Savage is obviously untouched by any sense of shame or moral condemnation.
We have no energy to rehabilitate a parasite such as savage, but our energy
is boundless in calling fo his termination, at every location, everywhere.
Fire the parasite. We hold the media responsible and accountable.
Savage's remarks are not only base and demeaning, they are false, untrue.
Those who employ him are therefore allowing lies about children to circulate, thus promotimg harmful social reactions and actions towards these children. Are you, the media, ready to accept responsibilty for causing harm to children? That is criminal. So again, we say, fire the parasite.
